"We found Victors Roofing during our search for roofing companies and noted the high amount of positive reviews and feedback and even though it was clear they were going to be on the higher side as far as cost, getting the job done right was the most important thing to us, so in the end we chose to go with Victors. I'll go over the project and both the positive and negative experiences we had with Victors Roofing. Project: 50 Year Premium Package House - Remove 2 layers of rotting plywood and install new layer of OSB and new shingles Garage - Remove 1 layer of shingles and install new shingles Positive: Honestly, the roof(s) on both our home and garage now look awesome (We're pretty sure our neighbor's both hate and envy us). Sales Communication: Thorough and polite. Workmanship and Products: Both were great. No complaints. Punctuality/timeliness - Project was scheduled and completed very quickly (1 week from initial project estimate until completion). Workers were on time and fast. Negative: Damage - Brand new AC unit was not covered properly and was scratched. Warranty - It was not mentioned that the 50 year warranty was only valid as long as you own the home and is only transferable 1 time for 1 year to the new owner (Didn't receive this information until I received the final payment receipt and warranty information). Cleanup - We have a dog, so cleanup was important to us. Overall it was good, but could have been slightly better outside. Attic is full of debris (Wood slivers from the plywood that was removed). Cost - Overall the cost was really high. I understand that companies markup products they sell/install, but charging $85 for a sheet of OSB that typically costs $16/sheet is an incredibly high markup. Final Thoughts: We love the new roof on both our home and garage and hope it will last for years to come and makes us feel better about the high cost of installation. Would I recommend Victors Roofing to others?: Yes. I can honestly say that even with the negative items mentioned above, given the high quality of workmanship and products used, I would still be comfortable recommending them to anyone looking to replace their roof that wants/expects it to be done right and not worry about shoddy workmanship."

"Many of the homes in our neighborhood are about that age when the builder installed roof needs replaced. We had been considering contacting someone about a new roof on our 20-year-old home and I really wanted to consider a higher quality option because I had heard from a neighbor about a 50-year roof. A Home Pro representative stopped by our home and I liked what I heard about their roofing system and set up a meeting. The company representative was friendly and described the GAF system they used in great detail and we were convinced this was the right system for us because it matched the quality and 50-year warranty I was looking for. I was expecting a steep price but I found the complete price in our budget. We were also pleased with the speed and accuracy of the planning as well as being given access to the software they use to create measurements and visualize the home. Given that we set this up to be done in March I was expecting at least a few weeks delay but Home Pro got the work scheduled on the first clear days. We love our house with all of gabling and trimwork and we thought it might be a complicated job, but it was completed by their installation team quickly in two days with no leftover mess or disruptions. We love the resulting look and even the look of the GAF venting system and have received compliments from neighbors. "The salesman was knowledgeable and it didn’t take long for the crew to come out to do the work. The roofing job itself is fine. The price was hefty but I don’t mind paying extra for quality work. The problem is that I was told someone would come do a walk around with me after the job was done and that the crew would clean up when they were done. Once the job was finished, the crew packed up and left and that was it. We did the inspection ourselves (because no one came back out to follow up like we were promised) and there were nails everywhere including in the ALLEY behind our garage (they shingled the garage). So disappointed in the lack of follow through. Not worth the price paid by a long shot."
