"I highly recommend W.T Anderson for any roofing need for the follow reason. The five member roofing crew arrived early Monday morning and began to go to work. The on-sight supervisor introduced herself and provided me with her phone in case I had questions or concerns. Every team member was assigned a task and worked efficiently with little wasted effort. The team remained focus on the job at hand even when the sight supervisor was not present (which was not often or long). The company’s owner made sure to visit the sight throughout the day. His enthusiasm and positivity for the job was mirrored by all at the job sight. The job consisted of removal of 2 layers of shingles, remove and re-install 3 Solar Tubes, replace 3 vent covers (2 bathroom and 1 kitchen), installed 3 Easy Sleeve pipe flashing (a product I recommend, made by a local Virginia company), replacing of 11 sheets of roof sheathing (a lot of water damage during the 30+ years since the first layer was installed, not surprised), installed Weather Watch leak barrier along eaves, rakes, around chimney and all roof penetrations, install underlayment and finally the shingles. I was expecting the job to take 2 days (especially after the water damage was found). However, the job was done in one day and the dumpster was picked up the next day. I cannot express how impressed I am with the thoroughness with which the clean-up was done. I climbed on the roof and inspected the work I was quite pleased with the overall job. I did find one discrepancy (one of the Easy Sleeves was installed incorrectly). Once the company was informed the owner can out the next day to see for himself. He tried to fix it right then and there, but was unable to. The next day the crew was out to remove and replace (with new material) the Easy Sleeve. I am absolutely happy that I chose W.T Anderson for my roofing project. Although their quote was not the lowest, the combination of good reviews and the positive impression I had after the owner’s visit to formulate a bid was central in the selection (I had four roofing quotes). They were very responsive during the whole process (bid, work and follow up) and I would highly recommend them."

"The crew was working on my neighbors roof and while briefly talking with one of the workers he mentioned seeing exposed shingle nails on my roof. They took pictures and showed me what they were seeing. Manager Elier Flores came out and did a full inspection and quoted reasonable prices for the needed repairs to include replacing the ridge cap. I have had several different roofers out within the last 5 years of owning this townhouse. I have had to have the ridge cap repeatedly repaired. This is the first company to show me before and after pictures along with providing an explanation of why they had a better solution vs their competitors. "My garage header was sagging and rotting. I was actually referred to Steve Phillips by another contractor. He came and inspected the garage that day and began work the next day. I observed a good portion of the work to understand what was happening. Steve explained exactly why and how water had penetrated to my garage header (poor/improper work by the builders). He completed the work in a little less than and day and a halfâ s time. He was very knowledgeable and meticulous about his work. There were even little pieces of siding that were chipped that he totally replaced even though I was content with hiding the chipped ends by having the undamaged pieces overlap. Our garage and siding looks better than when we bought the house and is more structurally sound and waterproofed than it was when it was first build."

"Originally, we were scheduled to have our roof inspected on January 10, but due to an ice storm it was not actually inspected until January 24. The owner came out finding that the roof was in pretty good shape. However, some of the roof caps on the various ridge lines needed to be replaced. He also found that the sealant around the pipes coming through the roof had cracked and could be letting in water from either rain or snow. The Technician came out the next day and repaired everything. He also cleaned out the gutters which were long overdue to be cleaned."

"Atlantic Services replaced our old roof with GAF Lifetime Architectural Shingles.   The estimate included the removal of the old shingles, several damaged pieces of plywood and an old attic fan.  The roof replacement included the installation of one layer of commercial grade felt paper, ice and water shield, starter shingles, re-flashing all walls, installation of ridge vent on all ridges (including the shed), the replacement of all pipe collars with double collars and painting of all stacks and vents with anti-rust paint.  The work was completed within 2 days.  The owner, Mr. Lego was very helpful.  He thoroughly explained the entire process and answered all of our questions.  He brought over several different shingle colors and was instrumental in final color selection.  Mr. Lego was on the roof working with the crew and had direct oversight of the job.  They were all very professional.  I would not hesitate to use this company again.

"Josh and Eddy arrived on time (actually a week early as they had an unexpected opening in their schedule). They looked at the safety bar and hand grip bar that I had purchased and examined the shower/tub space. We discussed what the position (height and slant) of where the bars should be. Once that was determined, the ceramic tiles were measured and marked. Placement was rechecked. The holes were drilled. During drilling a small vacuum was used to gather the dust and debris from the ceramic tiles. My tiles were not chipped or cracked. The bars were screwed into the wall and the area was rechecked for any needed clean up. An Angie's List discount was applied to my bill. On the way out, they stopped and readjusted a slanted pot light in my kitchen and a cabinet door which was scrapping the ceiling whenever it was opened. All of this was done within 30 minutes. Josh and Eddy were respectful of my home, paid great attention to details, and were very pleasant to talk with. I will rely on Yorktown's Handyman to complete any needed home repairs and improvements."
