"The process went quickly with detail showed in every step of the process. We asked and hoped that the raising would not cause the opposite end of the sidewalk to be raised above the point where it meets the driveway. There was no guarantee it would be that way, but they worked hard to make it level and safe.  For the sidewalk to be raised 2", we didn't want a stumble step to be created and be 2" above the driveway. They were able to raise it and leave a pitch so the water would drain properly and both ends of the sidewalk were right on. <br /> This process creates an huge mess. They cleaned everything and even filled the part of the garden next to the sidewalk with some black dirt. They were prepared to handle everything and make it right. <br />"

They were professional, everyone from the salesman, to the office staff, to the three men who removed our old roof and installed the new one. They did not disturb our landscaping and they cleaned the area every evening when they left. It was surprising quiet. Their nifty Equipter machinery carried the old shingles to the dumpster in our driveway. Even the dumpster was not obnoxiously large. "Drew was great. Very friendly and very knowledgeable. After our first appointment, he gave me a very detailed, itemized estimate of the work he recommended to fully waterproof my basement (sidewalk and french drain on one side, regrading the other). In total it was more than I wanted to spend right now, so I opted for just the sidewalk. He was able to schedule the work fairly quickly. His crew was prompt, professional, and fast. They did the demo and had the framing up in less than a full day, and poured the concrete the following morning and were done by lunch. It looks fantastic and is keeping that side of my basement dry. "Redstone provided an estimate for our 2nd floor addition project.  Bob met me promptly after contacting him.  He was both courteous and professional.  He completed an initial assessment and gave a rough estimate.  After following up, we decided to go ahead and have subcontractors in to get a firm estimate and "guaranteed maximum price".  His subs arrived and were all very professional.  There was healthy discussion and a creative process in determining the optimal way to do this project between he and the subs of which I was a participant.  They truly made an effort to discern what it was we wanted for the renovation and what was the optimal way to do this.  Throughout the process, Bob told us that his method was to assume we were going to do everything high end and bring it back if budget did not allow so that there would be no surprises at the end of it.  While I appreciate that aspect, the estimate then came in much higher than we were comfortable with.  While I do not doubt they would do a good job with the project, I felt like the "guaranteed maximum price" was way over what we wanted, and after getting our estimate it was  unclear what the actual cost of doing what we were going to do was - except that it was not going to go over a certain amount (which was way higher than our maximum budget).  I would have rather had a frank discussion of what could be accomplished within our budgetary framework that would have given us a better indication of whether we moved ahead with them. Overall, I appreciated their help with this project and would consider using them for future projects. <br />"

"My wife and I are extremely pleased with the end result of this project. It looks so good. The epoxy coating on the parameter foundation blocks and the concrete step to the house ads a perfect touch to the new clean look. I can now sweep the floor without dealing with concrete chips, dust, rough surface and cracks. We are also extremely pleased with the entire process of the project, including inspection and estimate, work scheduling, work completion and final inspection and satisfaction follow up. Terry, Ron, the lead workman and partner were all great to work with. I told the workmen the reason I chose Great Garage Floors was that they had done a neighbors garage floor 5 years ago and I really liked the job that was done and how well it was holding up.
