"We are new to the area and recently bought a new home with an unfinished basement.  I wanted to do all the work except the drywall.  Several things about One Way Drywall looked good on Angie's List so I contacted Dan.  Everything about this process was as good as it gets.  Dan communicates clearly.  He came to the house and gave us a quote.  After I did the framing, HVAC, electrical and plumbing, Dan came back to make sure I had everything ready to go.  He also wanted to look at some things I changed, as well as some additional work in the lower level. <br /> He went over the entire process with my wife and I and explained when and how the drywall would be delivered, and when he would start.  He started on Monday morning and it was all done by Friday afternoon. Everything went exactly as he said.  <br /> Dan is a very organized and clean worker.  He stacked the drywall scrap in the garage on a tarp I had placed there. Even the garbage at the end of every day was neatly placed in the center of the room. <br /> I am 100% happy with the job!  I thought it looked good when I first saw it, but after I put primer on I was really impressed!  Dan knows his stuff.  The knockdown ceiling is perfect.  All the corners are perfect.  We have about 55? of very wide knee wall and it is perfectly flat with perfect edges.  If I ever need drywall work again I will call Dan. <br />"

"We had a dryer vent that had ruptured more than 1 seam due to a dryer repair.  The vent ran across the lower level ceiling along the floor joists.  Due to the solid ceiling in the lower level multiple holes needed to be cut to repair the vent.  JC Drywall was contacted to quote on the repair of the ceiling and to match the texture of the current ceiling.  Jim was prompt and courteous in the quote process.  The quote was itemized and detailed.  Due to some timing issues it was many months until we were able to fix the ceiling.  Jim recalled the quote and was able to get us an updated quote based on increase in potential supply needs.  We set up a timeframe for the repairs.  Jim arrived on the scheduled date, he put plastic down and hung up plastic barriers to the rest of the home, used drop clothes to keep the carpets and stairs clean.  The repairs took 1 day longer than anticipated as the drywall compound did not dry as anticipated.  The ceiling looks great and there is no visible signs of the holes that were cut.  Jim did a very good job.  Jim was also came in under the quoted price.  The only category that we couldn't give an outstanding rating to was punctuality.  Each day Jim was slightly behind the time quoted to arrive, however it wasn't a major issue to us, and we would recommend JC Drywall for other Drywall needs."

"We had an ice dam that resulted in a damaged ceiling and walls. Randy did excellent work. He repaired the damaged areas of the ceiling (plaster over drywall) and removed the popcorn to a smooth finish. He also repaired the damaged plaster walls, including an intricate architectural archway, to perfection. He is clearly a hard worker and an expert at this, and he was ultra-careful to take care of the home and keep it clean despite loads of dust. Highly recommend him!"
