"I Know It When I See It!! Years ago, I sat in a meeting room amongst a group of executives to talk about the business of the day. On this day, however, something was different. When we went to sit down, we each found a book in front of our seats, 'I Know It When I See It'. The book was probably 35 to 40 pages long and written on thick, easy-to-tear paper like you find in coloring books. "Followed up on troublesome roof leak, found deficiency in previous contractor roof re-shingling that resulted in deterioration of roof deck at peak that permitted cap shingles to lift and allow rain to penetrate under shingles and damage ceiling. Graber removed decking at peak, reshingled to match existing, and installed ridge ventilation. Roofers had to work on steep, 12/12 slope and even continued to work when sudden storm arose so that no rain would enter inside. Timely and cooperative workers."

He indicated repairs were needed and provided a quote. So, I felt like I paid for a quote which most companies will do for free. The quote for repairs was significant.
