"One of the only companies to call me back. Not the best price, but reasonable for the job done. A year ago I added a white marble backsplash in my kitchen. I had updated the electrical in 2005 with a remodel, but we installed beige/almond devices to match the rest of the house. Because the new backsplash is white marble, I wanted white devices to match. I had 23 total outlets/switches, including some GFIC outlets to be changed. Job was supposed to take 3 hours, and I believe he finished a little early. Service technician was polite, clean, thorough and on-time. He covered my new counters with a canvas tarp to protect them and he cleaned each area with a small shop vac as he finished. He did a wonderful job, I'm very pleased. I did supply the devices. I purchased them on my own to make sure I got what I wanted. He even replaced a few cover plates to match the others I already had. Seems I had missed a few in my original sweep after the backsplash was installed. AND, even though the original appointment was on 7/3, he couldn't do the job and would have to come back. He returned the following day, 7/4, even though it was 4th of July, and let me know that they work 24/7 with no extra charge for evenings or weekends. I would highly recommend this company if you need an electrician. I will hire them again if the need arises."

"After some detective work, the electrical problem to the lamppost was discovered. There had been 4 or 5 splicing jobs over the years. It required a lot of digging (in the pouring rain!) and lifting a huge flagstone paver. It involved a lot more work than anyone anticipated. The fixture problem was the type of bulb I was using. I was not charged for this. The owner and his assistant were very friendly and professional. They did a great job! I would hire them again."

"I hadn’t even finished filling out the questions on the ad when Angel called. He was very nice and very informative. He quoted me a discount price that I thought was fair. Then, to pay the whole year got me an even better quote! I went for it and hope O don’t regret it! My home is 7 years old and I’m expecting some things to have glitches or stop working, like appliances. They’re expensive- I already had to replace my dishwasher- wow it was expensive. I got what I wanted!! I hope their work and people in the office are as good an experience as I had talking with Angel! Good luck, everyone!!"

"The job was done in a timely manner and we have no complaints a year later.  We have tried to reach them for other projects since but cannot.  I do not know what has happened to them - their voice mail is full so there is no way to leave a message.

"We needed a microwave replaced and All Valley Electric said they could get it done. While some wanted up to $200 , All Valley gave us a price of $75. The blizzard caused a delay but they called a few days later and within an hour he was removing the old microwave and installing the new. He was very clear on what had to be done and had the new micro in place within minutes. He even set the clock. I hope to use them again."

FAQs for electrical for home addition or remodel installation projects in Zanesville, OH

There are several telltale signs that your home is due for an electrical upgrade. You may need to rewire your house if your lights are constantly flickering or your circuit breaker keeps tripping. If you feel mild electric shocks when you touch light switches, hear buzzing sounds, or notice burning smells, you may need to rewire your house, too. Discolored or burnt-looking switches and faceplates are another crucial warning sign.

Properly installed copper wiring in a residential property can last as long as 50 to 100 years in some cases, but many homes over 30 years old are due for an upgrade. That’s the timeline that many experts recommend, even if it is only a partial update to accommodate technological advancements, increased power demands, and changing safety requirements.

At $3 to $5 per square foot, the cost to wire a 2,000-square-foot house ranges from $6,000 to $10,000, on average. This can depend on many factors, like the age and complexity of the house and how easy it is for contractors to access the areas they need to get the job done. Opening and repairing walls can further add to your total cost.
