Customers say: Quick response

"Honest and professional. The team did a great job. Communicated the whole time. Was super accommodating to me and the family. Would recommend to everyone. I had a leaky toilet that leaked for far too long and destroyed parts of the subfloor and the ceiling of the room underneath. Everything was repaired, reinforced, and picked new tile too. "

"Predatory Sales and Subpar Quality Mad City's process is predatory from start to finish. Three hours of high-pressure sales tactics in my own home, even after I repeatedly stated I needed to discuss it with my husband. After the installation the field manager acknowledging the wave and gaps in the wall, he told me that while it didn't meet my expectations, it met their "standard of error." Let that sink in: Mad City Bath?s official policy is that crooked and wavy is good enough. If you value your money, or want a shower that is actually square and plumb, stay far away from this company. They perform subpar work, hide behind automated phone lines when things go wrong, and will abandon you the moment they have your money. Hire a reputable contractor instead."

"Karl and his crew are top notch. Great communication, attention to detail, and very fair pricing. Remodeling can be very overwhelming and Karl makes the process a piece of cake. Lastly, Karl recommends upgrades and finishing touches that are always the more affordable option - never any surprises with expensive add-ons or the final bill!"

"After a disappointing experience with another contractor on our main bathroom, we were cautious. This remodel for our kids? bathroom was the complete opposite ? professional, reliable, and high-quality workmanship. Everything was done right the first time. Thank you Century City Baths."

"The men made a great new shower area! They cleaned up as well! I called the office to try to arrange the balance of work. Haven’t heard back from anyone - but yes! The work great!"

Customers say: True professional

"I am amazed at the work that Greg and his team do! Greg was wonderful to work with. He is knowledgeable about things that work. He takes time to explain things and going shopping with him was a wonderful experience because he knows what works and is able to suggest items that will look good in your bathroom - my only regret is that I had shopped for my bathroom items before I met him. However he still made the whole design work. A huge shoutout to Wjotek for doing the work. I’ve never seen someone so detail oriented and so meticulous in their work. I would recommend Sanrad Design and Greg to anyone looking to remodel their bathrooms. Just don’t go shopping first before you meet Greg!"

Customers say: Quality work

"Remodel went extremely well even with material delays (not ordered through Rowe construction.) They were able to pivot and work on different areas of this extensive remodel. This crew showed up every day and notified us if they were not going to come or if they were delayed. They also pointed out and/or were able to troubleshoot areas of design that wouldn’t look aesthetically pleasing. In addition, they cleaned up the interior each day and regularly picked up construction waste placed in the garage during this process."

FAQs for bathroom remodel projects in Zion, IL

You can buy a replacement vanity by selecting a pre-made unit with an integrated sink from a local home improvement supplier. Pre-made vanities are designed for easy installation and compatibility with your existing plumbing. If a ready-made option doesn't meet your needs, consider hiring a custom builder to create a vanity that fits your space and style.

You can purchase a bathroom vanity from major home improvement retailers like Home Depot and Lowe’s or online stores like Wayfair, which offer a variety of pre-made vanities. Visiting local showrooms and bathroom supply stores can also provide professional advice and help you choose the right vanity for your space.

Installing your bathroom vanity flush against the wall enhances stability and prevents shifting. This placement also eliminates hard-to-clean gaps and keeps your vanity securely in place. Building codes often require a minimum clearance of four inches from bathtubs and at least 21 inches of free space in front of the sink for accessibility and safety.

You can upgrade a single vanity to a double vanity by installing additional cabinets, a second sink, and matching fixtures. This process requires additional plumbing adjustments, countertop modifications, and careful alignment to ensure both sinks function correctly. Upgrading to a double vanity enhances bathroom functionality and offers more space, which is especially beneficial for shared bathrooms.

The best vanity top material depends on your budget, style preferences, and maintenance willingness. Materials like quartz or solid surfaces are excellent choices for durability and low maintenance. If you're on a tighter budget, laminate is affordable but less durable. Consider how much traffic your bathroom gets and choose a material that balances cost, appearance, and upkeep.

Installing a bathroom vanity takes between three and six hours. Simple installations may be completed in under three hours, while more complex projects requiring adjustments or plumbing modifications can take up to six hours or more. The installation process includes assembling cabinets, placing the countertop, installing the sink if necessary, and connecting plumbing.
