We had our roof replaced, our homes exterior painted, some siding replaced as well as two exterior dormer windows replaced. My daughter has used this company as well for new gutters as well as exterior painting. The workers are always friendly , professional and experienced. They answer all questions that you may have and leave the job site spotless after the job is completed. The office staff is always helpful and friendly as well and promptly return calls. I highly recommend JD Hostetter. They are reasonable on their job quotes too. You will not be disappointed if you use this company!"

"The existing roof on the house and garage was torn off, new sheet decking installed on top of old board decking of the house, new flashing, drip edge, shingles installed on house and garage. Installed new ridge vent on house. Some of the siding that needed to be removed to install flashing was damaged as can happen but was replaced with new. It was a difficult roof with multiple dormer windows and odd angles but they did a careful job and I've received many compliments on the appearance from neighbors. Good job with clean up too. The owner is easy to reach and quick to reply to all questions I had. From day I asked for quote until day completely finished was under 5 weeks. Without hesitation I'd recommend them to others. Competitively priced compared to two other bids."

They helped me hire a public adjuster and would periodically check-in with me to assure me that I hadn't been forgotten and that the adjuster was still working on my case. Ultimately, they were right about the damage being covered by insurance and after a few months insurance agreed to cover it. Russell Hill quickly scheduled the replacement after confirmation and actual install of a ~1800 sq ft house roof replacement (including some roof element upgrades) took a day. "Excellent work!  Orig. price quoted  was 4,150.00.  However, during tear off of old roof they had shown my husband five layers of roofing shingles (which was causing our roof to sag).   We initially thought there were only 3 layers. When initially called, they explained they were super busy and it would be about a month.  After a month, called them back to see how much longer and they were out within that week or next.  Came out at around 7am and were completely finished by 8pm that evening.   Including clean up.   Its been two years since work was done and roof is still great!  We will definitely have them do more work!  Sorry this post is almost 2 years later, however on the up side at least I can say the quality of workmanship is still like new!"
