It was so bad that the installation crew wouldn’t even install the new unit. Dennis was able to come by within a day to provide an estimate, and had the work done a day or two after that. "The job was fairly straightforward and I had already procured the sink and most of the additional supplies but the job required some replumbing of both the water supply and drain. The master plumber worked efficiently and professionally and the job was completed in a few hours. The cost was determined from a standard table in a notebook but does not take into account the complexity of the job or whether materials are supplied by owner. Since I supplied most of the materials (plumber supplied valves and pipe and drain fittings) the price seemed rather high for around 3 hours work. However, I've had no professional plumbing work done recently and thus have nothing to compare it to. The plumber was very pleasant and professional and the work of high quality. "Two men, Jerry and Tommy, arrived on the morning of May 19, 2017 to install the system. Tommy dug a hole on one side of the house, poured a concrete foundation in said hole, and also set up metal tubing, which created a stand on which the condenser sits to protect it from runoff. Meanwhile, Jerry was inside, drilling holes through my bedroom and dining room interior and then exterior walls for the refrigerant pipes which run from the condenser to the air handlers. He mounted each air handler high up on the wall. There was also electrical work performed to connect the units to the main panel in the basement. The whole job took several hours. Both men worked quickly and efficiently. At the close of it, Jerry presented me with my remotes and instructions, and showed me the basics. I used the system for the first time just a couple of nights after installation. The first night (it was the start of a heat wave) the air from the system was cool-ish - tolerable, but not quite as comfortable as I'd hoped - but I was still uncertain about the controls so I didn't tab down the temperature. The second night I did tab down the temperature, and that's when I found out that, though the fans and vanes in both air handlers worked, the cooling mechanisms did not. Considering the amount of money I'd just spent i was more than a little upset. Visions of law suits danced in my overheated head that night. I called the next morning. Jerry came out that day and diagnosed the problem (something to do with the solenoids, or maybe it was the thermistors). In any case, he did fix it, and this time, it worked as designed, and has done so ever since. I should add that NETR offers a service contract. Despite the added expense - for me, 234.99 a year for 3 years (the annual rate is fixed for that period, plus I get a 5% discount) - it makes total sense to have this complex system undergo periodic maintenance. I will pay the total at the time of the first inspection, in 2018."

"Plumbing work went very well. But we asked to re-silicone our shower unit and the door hardware was damaged in the process. It was action above expectations so we're not complaining, but we paid for it and are still awaiting replacement hardware to use the shower. Other than that, the work was done professionally and cheerfully. Other than the shower issue, the work was a 5."
