"The project was just completed, and we have had our final electrical and building inspections. We have no issues with the sales process and I only have high praise for the sales rep Bob Zielinski. We did have an issue of the price going up due to a change in the room configuration after signing the initial contract, but Bob handled it very well and to our satisfaction. We appreciate his efforts and the cooperation of management in coming to a reasonable compromise regarding the price increase. We experienced a very long delay due to the necessity to re-route the water main (water well) line which was broken when my concrete contractor was digging for footers. Once the footers were installed the final measurements were able to proceed. The materials were available in stock a bit earlier than anticipated and we able to easily schedule the installation. The installation and electrical crews were extremely professional and did excellent work. We were initially a bit disappointed in the insulation where the addition attaches to the house siding. While the work meets code and was approved by the city building inspector, we believed that there should be additional flashing and/or caulking along the entire line of attachment to the house. It seemed that there was a gap between the insulation and the end of the vertical beams, although they were fully attached and insulated. As soon as I brought this to the attention of the office, I immediately received a call back from the construction supervisor. He expressed a concern that any additional caulking would not match the structure or the house and therefore would not look good. They offered to send a crew out to evaluate what could be done. A crew showed up within an hour (the original construction team). They evaluated my concern and found a caulking material that exactly matched the siding on my house. Within an hour the caulking was applied, and the project has a better and more finished look. The construction and electrical work were completed on time, and my desires regarding the use of additional caulking were addressed in a most professional and satisfactory manner. We chose Patio Enclosures for this job because of the excellent work was done by their Stanek Windows division in installing a new custom patio door two years ago. Now the door leads into a wonderful new double pane glass, three season sunroom, with a solid sloping roof. The new structure matches the patio door exactly. We are very pleased with the work that was performed and the customer service that we received. I would only caution that if someone wants to get a job like this done properly, and with the highest-grade materials and workmanship, it will probably cost quite a bit more than they are planning to spend. In the end we believe the addition is worth the price and will add much value to the house as well as many enjoyable days and evenings using the room in the Spring, Summer, and Fall."

"Greg and his crew completed my two beautiful sunrooms in a timely fashion. There was some unforeseen structural issue that came up and Greg handled it very fairly. He is one of the most honest people out there, and he will do whatever it takes to get the job done. His crew faced extreme weather conditions and a difficult build site (very tight hillside lot) and still managed to finish two beautiful sunrooms in a reasonable time. The resultant structure is an engineering marvel that overlooks the scenic Rocky River Yacht Club Basin. The architectural lines blend perfectly with the curved eave sunrooms. "Shawn and his men are true professionals. From our first meeting with Shawn until the job was done it was a positive experience. The job was completed in a timely manner and within budget. All materials were here as needed so there was no pause in the job while someone had to go get something. Shawn was on top of it all the way. Both Shawn and Rocco (our crew man) were very responsive. Always answered the phone or called back. Showed up on time every day. Even when I made a last minute change, Shawn never missed a beat. I decided I wanted wainscoting when the job was almost done and he never missed a beat. Next day he delivered wainscoting. The attention to detail was wonderful and they never left the house without cleaning up each day. I would highly recommend Shawn Marquard to a friend, and will call him for any needs in the future."

"American Patio Rooms replced the walls only. We had an exising cement foundation and roof that were good. They replaced 3 "walls". 2 of the walls were replced with 20" knee walls and the third wa replaced with a sliding glass door. They were the cleanest company that I've ever had perfom work at my home. They were very polite, professional and did exactly what they said they would. When it was discovered that the header was not a true header, they replaced that as well. We are very pleased with the room and lik that the windowas are able to slide in both directions. The widows are double pane, easy to clean and the screens are also easy to put in and take out. The only complaint that I have is that I received a call on Tuesda night to inform me that work would begin on Wednesday. I work and would have liked more notice but with this type of work you are at the mercy of the weather and the days they did the job were scheduled to be beautiful so I made it work. I also like to be onsite when work is being done at my home."

"From our first of several meetings with Todd, he was imaginative, and flexible, and really understood what we were trying to achieve. (Which was a very natural and organic look that is nevertheless consistent with a century home with leaded-glass windows.) He patiently endured many changes in design and in proposed materials. He was very patient through the entire materials, hardware, and appliance-selection process--which was phenomenally tedious and took weeks. (He clearly blew through the design fee a long time ago but never asked for more.) He has a strong aesthetic sensibility. One of Todd's greatest strengths is that he is a cook himself, and so he absolutely understands the need for high-performance and functionality in a kitchen design. We have been very, very pleased with his design work and would recommend him strongly and enthusiastically. We were also delighted at the way that Todd really worked over subcontractors to get us the best value--even though there was nothing in it for him financially. We visited our friends' place to see the quality of the cabinets and it was first rate. He obviously and justifiably takes great pride in his craftsmanship. We are looking forward to seeing his final cabinet work. Todd also serves as a project manager to general or specific contractors, for an additional fee. We were confident enough with our general contractor that we did not engage him for this but might have under different circumstances. He clearly knows what he is doing. If you are considering him, after you have interviewed him, you are welcome to visit our kitchen to see the work when it is complete (projected 3-1-2010). Just ask Todd about the home on Chestnut Hills Drive."

"Had Stanek windows and patio door installed approx. 15 years ago. Patio door was getting a little difficult to slide open and close. Called Stanek, they sent technician, Cory, out and within 30 minutes he had door operating good as new. Our Stanek windows are great and good as new."

"I like the way it works and the way it looks. I also like the way it lasts. It is a life time thing. I have had concrete floor put in my garage, and I did not what else could have been done with it and I thought that miracle stone would be an easy solution. I like the way he interacted with me and his promptness. I would grade him an A for all that. I think they were pretty reasonable. It was much easier than putting concrete flooring. The quality of work looks good."
