"The technicians showed up the next day to give us a quote, and then (once we agreed to the quote) they were able to start work immediately (same day). They installed a chimney cap, sealed two other old chimney pipes (no longer in use), sealed the stone of the chimney itself and also installed a flexible crown seal. It was more than we thought to have done on the chimney, but the peace of mind is worth it. They finished in about 1.5 hours and did a great job. Would hire again."

"Excellent. I called for emergency help as my plumber said furnace shut down was due to block in flue. It was cold and I needed flue fixed asap to be able to get heat back on. Boston sweeps had no available appointments, but switched me to their emergency service consideration and came out same day for $150 "mercy service extra fee. They did an excellent clean out (man in bsmt/man on roof) and made strong recommendation to reline chimney, replace cap to avoid future blockages. I trust their recommendation as a several years back a chimney sweep said we would soon need to reline. They sent me an estimate by next day. It was pricey, but I think it is because it's a 3 story house. the estimates I saw online were significantly lower, but they were national and did not specify height of chimney. All in all, very solid work and can't argue (much) with the estimate."

"Earlier Mr. Liverman inspected and cleaned our chimney and determined that we should have part of our indoor chimney rebuilt.  We had come to this conclusion before he came to clean our chimney.  He arrived with the 2 men who actually did the brick  work, introduced them, and told us they'd worked for him for many years.  They put tarps all  around the fireplace and left things neat and clean.  Erwin Liverman left and then returned a few hours later while they were finishing, to inspect the work.   The men totally knew what they were doing; they were very professional.  I asked for the bricks that were going to be taken out; he said they'd be in pieces, which they were, and they put them in a box for us.  They repointed the bricks; it looks good and we now feel safe and secure.  (We had broken bricks and pieces of bricks missing from inside the fireplace.  We use the fireplace a lot and wanted the fireplace to be safe.) <br />"

"I had stainless steel chimney liners put in two properties I own, and one of them also needed to have the chimney rebuilt from the roof up. One of the liners in particular was very difficult because there were 2 gas boilers and 2 gas hot water heaters exhausting up the chimney, with low head height in the basement and a small flue. They had to custom make connectors to get everything to fit, but they ended up getting it done! I found pricing to be reasonable, I received another quote as well and went with Metrowest because they seemed very knowledgeable and the pricing was competitive."
