"I woke up to my backup sump pump alarm going off. I attempted to resolve the alarm myself but couldn't figure out the issue. I put in a request for service and Wagner and Sons called me back within 5 minutes. They asked some clarifying questions and advised that they could swing by between 11am and 12pm, the truck rolled into my driveway at 10:58! Mike Wagner serviced my pump, he was very professional and even took the time to explain to me how the pump works and what some other issues to look out for are. He showed me how he determined that the backup and main pump were shot and went through my options. He said that I could replace the current 1/3hp pump but that he recommended a 1/2hp pump because my property grading isn't great. He said he could replace the backup at the same time but was honest about it being something that can be done at anytime and wasn't necessary to do right away. Ultimately I approved the 1/2hp main pump and declined the back up pump. After that he was able to replace the pump in 40 minutes before going on his way.
