"Kaden was very personable. The railings and pool deck that were painted look so much better. I did have one complaint that Kaden came back and corrected and made the suggestion that when he uses helpers that he should also provide coverings for areas not to be painted. Compared to others his price was more reasonable."

"Matthew and his painting assistant did a phenomenal job painting my bedroom and bathroom. They were very thorough and meticulous, with great attention to detail. They were able to finish a day earlier than originally estimated, and the complete job was very reasonably priced. I thank them for being willing to take on a job that, I'm sure, was not an easy task. I highly recommend Matthew and his company. "

Customers say: Quick response

"Kevin and Karen Nolan are the consummate professionals, in our opinion. Their workmanship, reliability and cleanliness cannot be overstated. They worked tirelessly to restore our upstairs guest room after it was damaged by hurricane Florence. This entailed insulating and installing sheet rock in the ceiling, repainting, mold treatment and repairing baseboards. They also fixed some damage to our kitchen ceiling as a result of leakage from the guest room through the light fixtures. We would not hesitate to contact them again should we need any of this type of work in the future."

FAQs for small projects painting or staining projects in Beaufort, NC

You'll need about two gallons of paint to fully cover your kitchen cabinets with two coats. Since each gallon covers around 350 square feet, it's a good idea to measure your cabinets or use a paint calculator to determine exactly how much you'll need. Starting with one or two coats of primer and then applying two to three layers of paint will give you a flawless, durable finish. Using high-quality paint can reduce the number of coats needed and provide a long-lasting finish.

The best type of paint for your kitchen cabinets is latex paint because it applies evenly and creates a durable finish. If you're painting wood surfaces and need extra adhesion, acrylic paint is a great alternative. We don't recommend oil-based paint for residential use due to its VOC emissions. For finishes, go with eggshell, semi-gloss, gloss, or satin, as matte finishes aren't as durable or as easy to clean.

The best method for painting kitchen cabinets is spray painting because it gives you a smooth, even finish without brush strokes. While brushes and rollers can work, they often leave marks and require more effort. If you're aiming for a professional look, spray painting is your best bet to enhance the beauty and durability of your cabinets.
