"A crew of two men and Luke arrived at 8:30am as I was leaving for work and when I came by at 1pm, the dog yard was almost completely finished! By 4pm, when I came home from work, the entire framing for the front fence was completed and the next day (SATURDAY) the men returned and completed the project! Fabulous! I love my new fence. I love the hardware on the gates. It is exactly what I wanted. The first week after the installation, the wood on the front gate swelled from rain and the gate was hard to open and I texted Luke and he was here that afternoon and sanded and corrected the problem. I did see before I hired Alki that some people felt their calls were not returned as facst as they would have liked but, this company is worth the wait."

"SG&A's owner (Mike) bid the work.  We ended up selecting his firm primarily due to their experience and design capability (they were able to "show" us what the gate design would look like with a simulated "picture" prior to any work being performed).  SG&A fabricated the gate based upon the agreed design.  We also had Mike orchestrate all the rural King County permits, cable/power line markings, electrical contractors, and trench digging (for electrical conduit supply) to the electrical supply junction.  Duke and David were his primary employees and appeared to be diligent in their work. <br> <br>The completed gate was installed late April (about a 3 month process) and is working well.  They include a one year maintenance plan and will be out in six months for a service call to ensure all parts, components, and operational aspects are in strong working order. <br> <br>While SG&A was the most expensive bid, I definitely believe we got a high quality gate that will last for many years.  We strongly recommend SG&A for your security gate needs."

"We are so happy with our new custom fence! This was not a "typical" job. It is a small yard that wraps around the back and sides of the house. We needed some areas to have privacy fencing, and some to have a picket with space between the boards, 4 gates, some pieces to connect to existing fencing, and some of the fence to sit on top of a retaining wall. The fence came out beautifully and totally meets our needs. They were very responsive when we needed the estimate and fully designed proposal. They scheduled the work as quickly as possible, and in the timeline we needed. They are highly recommended."

"Mark was great to work with and very professional. Before the project, we had a good conversation about project ideas, and Mark was very clear on what he planned to do based on our goals. His crew(s) were quick, polite, and performed quality work. <br /> The retaining wall installation went very quick and was fairly standard wall work, and it looked great and was exactly what we needed. The fence was more involved as it required installation on top of the new wall, but also to integrate with the neighbor's fences as they were on different levels or in poor condition. In addition, part of the fence was doubled up with boards and mitred to reduce gaps in the boards for sound reduction/privacy. We also had a sound proofing material installed between the boards as the fence lines a busy road. You can't even tell the sound proofing material is even there. I've had fences installed in prior houses but this was one of the best looking installations I've had done. <br /> The project went smoothly with no significant issues and it was quality work. I would use Mark and team again. <br />"

"They did an excellent job on both the repair and the replacement of our garage door opener.  The repair went well (very responsive and came out the next day after I called).  The garage door opener replacement took about 2 hours and all is well so far.  I may add that they were late for both appointments so take this into consideration when you use them.  Perhaps they should add more time between jobs and call if they think they will be late.  We plan to use them again for annual maintenance. <br />"

"Jerrod came out and gave me a very reasonable bid. We discussed his company and experience with repairing brick chimneys and I felt more comfortable hiring Archstone over any of the other 5 companies for various reasons. Jerrods crew arrived in the morning right on time and finished by 4pm the same day. When they were doing the repair they found and issue with my flashing and offered to fix it for a small additional fee which I felt was more than fair. This company and employees are all professional and respectful of my home and property. Clean up was as if they were never at my place. Hire this company if you have masonry work to be done."

"This is our second project with Le's Landscaping and Yard Work. It's a family owned business with an emphasis on customer satisfaction. We've had several other outdoor projects in the years we've lived here (covered deck, wood retaining walls and planting areas, fencing, cement walkways) - all with people we liked, all with mixed results. This time, the results have all been positive. Our first project with Le's was mostly extensive yard work. Mr. Le was frequently on site, but his crew was hardworking and experienced and we were pleased with the results. Our current project was a 160 ft. cedar fence with 3 gates, arbors, and enclosing an inner courtyard space. For this project, Mr. Le was always on site, either directing or more often doing the detailed construction work himself. The workmanship and materials he selected are excellent. The project also included building up a walkway that had begun subsiding into a stream area and planting a Japanese maple. Once they started the job, they didn't pull off to work on others. Mr. Le responded quickly to any question or concern we had during the process. We had a general idea of what we wanted, but his ideas and experience made the result much better than what we pictured. The workmanship on the fence and esp. the gates was wonderful. I rarely write reviews, but this has been an exemplary job that we'll enjoy for many years. It was also a lot of fun."
