"Overall, I would say it went  very well. The crew was extremely diligent, working long hours to complete the job. They cleaned up well. Sometimes the communication between the office and Mike, the owner wasn't as good as it could've been. Didn't seem like he got our messages at times. <br /> I'm somewhat disappointed at  the appearance of the front of the house. The crew installed long, seamless strips of siding on the east side of the house, but not on the front. There are many places where seams are visible and there is one spot under the kitchen window that is crooked. <br /> Summing up, my wife and I were very impressed with everyone's politeness and respectful nature in relating to us. <br />"

"Our roof is high and complicated with lots of hips and valleys. It has several dormers- both gable and shed style) and several bays that stick out from the main house. We chose Fournier because of their experience in general and with asbestos roof removal in particular and because of their competitive price (we had bids up to 3 times what it ended up costing). They didn't use any high pressure sales techniques- just looked and submitted a written bid. Fournier's crew was all suited up with white coveralls and respirators to remove the old roof which they disposed of in a heavily lined dumpster as required by RI law. They draped our deck and porch and tried to protect our foundation plantings although one bush didn't survive the experience, and they cleaned up fairly well at the end of each day. The job took about 5 days total. I did have some problems with communication that were fixed (I used an old email that I found on a website that was Ray didn't check much). <br />"

"Jesse and his team at Renaissance Roofing were exceptional in several ways in their approach to our wooden roof: Jesse’s advice about repair/replacement was solid and conservative in terms of his assessment regarding the condition of the roof and its longevity; he noticed, suggested and added details (at his own expense) that enhanced the roof’s function; when he ran across problems that were outside the original job description, he corrected them (like sealing a chimney crack, replacing deteriorated shakes on the barn roof, and removing a broken weather vane that had fallen over); he was appropriately communicative regarding keeping tabs on the weather and its effect on the work schedule; the work was completed in a timely manner; the work site was kept neat and clean; and he followed up after the first post-repair storm to make sure that the leak had resolved. "I had some electrical work done in my condo leaving lots of needed ceiling repairs on a decorative plaster ceiling. I had heard about Jason / J H Home Improvements And Plastering from a friend so gave him a call. He came out to give a free estimate and it was very reasonable. They came yesterday to do the plaster work and will be coming next week to paint the entire ceiling. So far so good. The work looks fantastic! Nice match to the existing ceiling, can’t even tell where they plastered. They were very professional and explained things to me before starting. They were right on time and cleaned up everything. It is hard to find a good plaster, especially if the job is not that big, like mine. But Jason treated me as if I was doing an entire house!
