"I had an old light fixture removed that did not have a backbox & cover plate to house the wires correctly and a bedroom ceiling fan that mysteriously stopped working. I read a number of Angie's list reviews and felt that VMA Electric seemed like straight shooters, fully transparent and would be able to solve my issues efficiently. (I knew this job would be T&M rather than pre-quoted as it's impossible to say how long something like this would take). But Nancy in the office was wonderful to work with scheduling the work and she gave me the hourly rates ahead of time so I knew what I was going into. I was fortunate with my timing as they just had a cancellation - so they were onsite the very next morning. They solved both of my issues efficiently, cleaned up after themselves and made the whole process extremely wonderful. If you're reading this saying "I just need an electrician or two to come by and fix a couple of lingering items that I've had on my checklist for awhile" - you've found your company. The invoice/bill for the work was emailed to me the following day and it was exactly in line with expectations (a lot of reviewers are cautious about seeing an invoice after the fact). The pricing was exactly in line with the rates previously given and it was itemized with materials, etc. Anybody would be very happy with this group."

"I will recommend Champion Electrical Services to anyone interested in hiring competent, reliable and honest electricians. It starts with salesmen Jayron Diaz who submitted the job estimate to upgrade an electric panel to code. There was no surprise costs. Jayron was very professional and honest about the work. On the day of the service, Matt Wood and Sean arrived at the scheduled time as promised. Matt explained what they were going to do, how long it would take, and if I had any questions. Matt estimated the job would take approximately 6 hours. It actually only took 4 hours from start to finish and that included cleanup and minor repairs. I think Champion did an awesome job and I will call upon them for my next project."

"Matt and his team did an excellent job upgrading our electrical panel. He coordinated the work with National Grid, relocated the panel, labeled the circuits and tested all the work. I would highly recommend Dever Electric."

"George and his team is very helpful. Their work was done fast and professionally. George gave me very seasonable price. I will hire them again if I need any electrical help."

"I was looking to have some work done on my condo and was hoping to use people from the Waltham area as I wanted to support local businesses and came across PW DiMasi Electric here. Peter and his team were excellent. He was very responsive and scheduled an appointment to give the estimate pretty quickly. When he came to give me the estimate for my living room he mentioned that I should probably also have my dining room light rewired as the building my condo is in is very old so more than likely the wiring was old and not in good shape. At first I thought he might be trying to drum up some extra business (because of bad past experiences with contractors) because my job was so small (it's worth mentioning that Peter was one of the few electricians that I could actually get to come to look at the job in person to give me an estimate, the others I called said the job was too small and not worth their time) but once he took the dining room light down it turns out he was absolutely right about the wiring. I am so glad he was so insistent about replacing it. His guys came right after the plasterer took the ceiling down so it would cost me less to have the work done but unfortunately because of the insulation that was in my attic they couldn't drill holes in the lath for the wiring and boxes so his guys had to go up into the attic which at the time (it was July) was boiling hot . They were always very polite and respectful of my home and did a great job cleaning up after themselves every day. They also always came when they said they would. Peter checked in every few days to be sure I was happy with the work being done. I would not hesitate to recommend using DiMasi electrical and should the need arise in the future, I would use them again."

"I hired Mike to rewire and replace the outlets in my home as well as install brand new lighting, outlets and switches in the finished attic. His workmanship is nothing short of exceptional. It's plain to see that Mike is a professional who cares about his work, and more importantly his clients. His pricing is also very competitive. No need to worry about mile-long contracts and being charged hourly on top of exorbitant fees etc. If you are looking for any kind of electrical work to be done in your home, I highly recommend you give Mike a call or text. I guarantee your experience will be as good as mine was!"

"Brandon responded to my call immediately. He set up a time to meet and his co-worker Will showed up promptly as scheduled. He installed a 4 prong 220 outlet. He is very honest because he saved me $100 by using the existing wire when i thought he would need to run new wire. Both Brandon and Will were very professional and took the time to explain what they were doing. I would recommend Phillips Electrical without hesitation."

"New washer was causing circuit breakers to flip on my electrical panel. Mr. Handyman, who does my home repair and maintenance, referred me to McCurdy Electric emphasizing that they are the best in the business. Contacted McCurdy Electric and from that first phone call was in great hands. From Judy in the Office to Owner John who came out to meet and prepare estimate, professional and kind all the way. Logoed truck, always on time. Upgraded service to 100 AMP. Shebeeb and Brandon dug the trenches, ran the wires and quite honestly worked hard getting me back up with electricity before they left. McCurdy Electric even pulled the required permits and met with the City Inspector at my home. Just sat back with a book and let the professionals do their magic. Will not hesitate to contact them the next time I need electrical work done. Five Stars. --Charlene in West Peabody, MA"

The quality of work was exceptional – they completed the job efficiently and left the work area clean and tidy. I also appreciated their transparency regarding costs, with no hidden fees or surprises. I highly recommend JB Electrical to anyone in need of electrical services.
