"Excellent, I needed the whole inside of my house painted. Six rooms, two bathrooms, hallway and five closets. Kitchen cabinets were painted inside and out. Whole house trim and baseboards painted as were inside the drawers. The job took four days and looked spectacular! I’m in the process of selling the house. Miguel Painting did excellent work. I would/will recommend him to anyone! Thank you Miguel!"

"The price was fair. They worked all day for seven days many in high heat. They were polite and always helpful. They painted and stained 4 long porchs and replaced the lattice work around the base as well as paint the foundation. The house looks GREAT. Have more projects for after the holidays and will wait to hire them before another company."

FAQs for small projects painting or staining projects in Canton, MS

You'll need about two gallons of paint to fully cover your kitchen cabinets with two coats. Since each gallon covers around 350 square feet, it's a good idea to measure your cabinets or use a paint calculator to determine exactly how much you'll need. Starting with one or two coats of primer and then applying two to three layers of paint will give you a flawless, durable finish. Using high-quality paint can reduce the number of coats needed and provide a long-lasting finish.

The best type of paint for your kitchen cabinets is latex paint because it applies evenly and creates a durable finish. If you're painting wood surfaces and need extra adhesion, acrylic paint is a great alternative. We don't recommend oil-based paint for residential use due to its VOC emissions. For finishes, go with eggshell, semi-gloss, gloss, or satin, as matte finishes aren't as durable or as easy to clean.

The best method for painting kitchen cabinets is spray painting because it gives you a smooth, even finish without brush strokes. While brushes and rollers can work, they often leave marks and require more effort. If you're aiming for a professional look, spray painting is your best bet to enhance the beauty and durability of your cabinets.
