"Mr Rudy and his partner where on time very prompt.  They looked at each of my issues, explained that I really need a water pressure regulator and this was probably what caused my problem with the shower.  This also was what caused the toilet shut off valve to be replaced also.
 My toilet shut off valve had to re-soldered.  The copper solder gave way when he put the wrench to the nut.  Because this is a very old house and he was not sure if I had copper or galvanized behind the wall he had said before he began he was going to take great care trying to remove the valve.  Luck had it again when there was add'l pipe that allowed him to re-solder without having to go into the wall.
