"Lazaro and his crew members, Fidel, William, and Issac, transformed our back yard from being a dirty and unpleasant hellscape where my wife and I never spent any time to being a beautiful and clean space where we can host parties, cookouts, and relax. The crew was extremely professional, organized, thoughtful, experienced, efficient, and communicative throughout the course of the project. I was quite impressed with their design and planning skills, extensive experience, and passion for their work. My wife and I own a small row house with a small back yard, which presented unique challenges to the crew: no back yard access except through neighbors’ properties. The crew handled this challenge well by being communicative and friendly with my neighbors and always cleaning up the space at the end of each working day. They always ensured that the fencing and hardscaping looked good from both sides of the property line, so that my neighbors were also happy! Another challenge was that an adjacent property is about 3 feet above grade and not pleasant to look at from our yard. Lazaro’s planning and vision for a beige brick half-wall, topped with wooden lattice flower boxes was a great finishing touch that provided a beautiful transition between the red brick paver patio and the elevated wooden fence to block the view of the adjacent property. The crew carefully planned their work from the beginning, so that there were no surprises at the end as the finishing touches were put on and the fence was erected. My wife and I are also confident that the money we spent on this work will be a great investment—not only for enjoying our new home, but also in the resale value some day in the future. "I used them back in 2015 and was impressed with them. So I decided to use them again. I was quoted an hours worth of work. Then, when it came to the final bill, was charged for two hours worth of work, and this was with 2 men working the job. They were just replacing 3 pendant lights and 1 dining room light. So I was surprised and disappointed that it took that long. More importantly, one of the workers said something inappropriate to me. It made me feel very uncomfortable and afraid. So I called the owner to tell him what happened. He said he would speak to him. I felt like the owner could have taken me more seriously, been more sympathetic and apologetic about it. He made it sound like he was almost defending him. *** Update on this: The owner did speak with his crew member and said there was a misunderstanding of what he said and apologized for it. However, I know what I heard. Even to the end, it seemed like the owner was still defending him. Either way, I won't be using them again after my experience."

"JP Landscaping wowed me from the minute they started work until the time they finished. I have truly never worked with a better contractor and crew than this group. We hired them to help correct a drainage issue on the side of our back yard that was allowing water flow toward our home during strong storms. Jose met with us and determined a plan to add a wall to hold the water and push toward the drainage system they added so that water would flow to the road and not toward our house. It turned out to be beautiful and functional! He has the hardest working and most professional crew!"
