"In the end, we were more than totally pleased with all the work done by Wilson Delgado. He made several trips (always punctual) out to the country to pickup and return furniture, and also to deliver fabric books and samples for our clear vinyl slipcovers. We had minor glitches as he was unexpectedly called out of the country for a family emergency, but in his absence, I was contacted to let me know the reason for the delay. Then, Covid-19 hit and he was in protective covering when he delivered our last piece of furniture. At all times, he was professional, courteous, and treated our furniture and home as if it was his own. So far as pricing and how long he quoted for all the work-----believe it or not, he was just about half of what the other upholstery shop quoted me, and also the work was completed faster than the other shop. He is truly a talented craftsman that takes pride in his work."

However, they charged a service charge that was not mentioned in the coupon and that brought the total price to be substantially more than the agreed upon coupon rate that I purchased. This was definitely not mentioned at all in the coupon, although after you've ordered and committed yourself -- they mention it in the ordering conditions so if you don't want to pay it, you have to reject it and not have the work done when planned to avoid the additional charge. When they first started their service, they didn't transact business in this fashion."

I was equally impressed by Mr. Robinson's step-by-step explanation while he set up the equipment to perform the test. He explained his licensing and the accuracy of the test that he was conducting. He was professional, efficient and possesses a great deal of expertise in his chosen field. He informed me when to expect the results of the testing and followed up with a phone call explaining the report in minute detail. "I pay a monthly fee to CHW for insurance against equipment failure. Over a month ago CHW sent a repair technician to fix both of my garage doors, the technician made an adjustment on one door and chanced the opener on the other. A week or so ago the second door failed to open. Yes, my door opener is old, but the Warrantee says, if it can’t be fixed it will be replaced. CHW paid the tech $100 and said the rest $200 is on me. Please tell me why I should stay with CHW if I have to pay 2/3rds of the cost to replace the door opener? On a separate issue: Granted I accepted CHW’s offer of a Lowe’s card to replace my dishwasher, because I was unaware of how much dishwashers sell for, it cost me an additional 300. Again, please give me a reason for staying with CHW"

"We had Ferguson Home Improvements return to our home to paint our sons bedroom and install a ceiling fan.  The room was a 12 x 12 room and our son had been in there as a baby.  So you could imagine the holes from posters, pictures, and just wear and tear. I had already purchased the supplies with the intention of doing this job my self but just could not find the time so we asked them to give us and estimate.  Mr. Ferguson came in and told us sense we had all the materials he would do the room for $2 a square foot and hang our ceiling fan for $125.00.  So for $420.00 they went through made all the walls perfect fixed all the nail pops and holes from the posters and pictures and repainted all the walls.  I thought it was a great deal.  The room came out just awesome we will have them back to do more at our house.  Again thank you so much Ferguson Home Improvements.

"Slow draining tub, a toilet that just won't flush, and some back flow when using the dishwasher left us thinking we just had a major clog.  To our surprise, it was a collapsed sewer line that needed to be replaced.  While there was a 1 week wait due to the time of year and the demands they were expecting, we were more than happy to wait the week.  Work went quickly and smoothly, and was far less intrusive than we anticipated.  Their staff even wore shoe coverings when coming into the house!  Only some minor clean up work was required once they left, which appeared to be an oversight when they cleaned up.  Everything else was back to normal after they left and no problems since."
