"We recently bought a house in the N. Cascades with 1 acre of property teaming with deer, elk, coyotes and even bear. We needed a fence to keep our dogs in, wildlife out, with protected space for gardening AND no loss of views on all 4 sides. We thought we would end up with an ugly chainlink fence. But Marcelino, the owner of PG Landscape, built us a strong metal wire fence with a beautiful wood frame that met all our needs PERFECTLY! He helped us create a plan to accommodate all our needs, then built a fence that had to go up and down hills and through the woods in places. It is both a strong, utilitarian animal fence and a beautiful, see-through fence that maintains all our views, and enhances our property. Marcelino and his crew are perfectionists with the most amazing work ethic! They triply measured and checked everything. We've never seen a crew work as hard or as carefully as this one. Marcelino was in charge of every detail, and his team exuded pride in their workmanship. 100% recommendation!"

"I initially hired Fernando to clean up my yard and mow my lawn years ago when I saw him working on my neighbor's yard. I'm guessing that was 7-10 years ago. I've referred numerous friends to him over the years. Always been happy with his service and everyone I have referred to him has thanked me and hired him again. Fernando and his crew are professional, timely, and reasonably priced."

"When my fifty-six year old 26" wide wall oven quit working I knew it was not going to be an easy replacement as it was built into a ten foot wide chimney with little room for expansion and 26" ovens are no longer made. I didn't want to go smaller so I purchased a 27" oven which required the width and height of the opening to be enlarged. I wanted a mason to do the work, rather than the appliance installer. I found Archstone Masonry on Angie's List and emailed, with attached photos, the company and explained the work needed. Jerrod, the owner, called immediately and set up a date for the work to be done. Jerrod and Dave arrived right on schedule and discussed with me what they would do. Jerrod left when he felt I was comfortable with the work that was needed. Dave worked quickly enlarging the opening and also moving a brick wall inside the chimney. The result was excellent. During installation there was a problem with the bottom trim because of the uneveness of the brick exterior which was not forseen by the installers. I called Jerrod after the installers left and within an hour Dave arrived and made the necessary repairs and installed the trim for me. I am very impressed with how responsive Jerrod and Dave were and the care they took. I am very happy with Archstone Masonry and have recommended them to friends. They were worth every penny spent. ."

"Great! They arrived on time, in the pouring rain, got the one tree uprooted and transplanted and planted the four new ones. Came back the next morning to stake, fertilize and tidy up. They protected the grass with plywood strips and therefore minimized the damage and mud. We are very happy!"

"Miguel and his crew were top notch. Honest, informative and Miguel’s experience and communication really helped me with final decisions. They replaced my old cracked concrete patio and replaced it with 3 different size pavers, which just made the rest of the landscape pop!!! Absolutely beautiful. Miguel is a perfectionist when it comes to his work. You can sense the pride in his work and it shows in his crew’s professional manner too. I would and will recommend him to anyone that needs landscaping work. He’s the guy! Thank you guys."

"Chris was always easy to work with, gave us clear quotes and stuck with them and was a good communicater Much of the work was custom and that means it is so important that he can clearly grasp our vision of the finished project.  They got a lot done in a short period of time, but it was done with great planning and completed in a logical and high quality manner.  We were very comfortable with the process and are looking forward to many years of enjoyment.  The work increased the value of our property over and above the actual cost of the improvements."

"The flagstone patio installation was done in a very professional and attractive manner, the edging looks great, and the patio looks even nicer than we thought it would. Landscaping by Garcia workers worked very hard and they were all very friendly and easy to work with. I highly recommend this company."

FAQs for interlocking pavers for driveways & floors installation projects in Ferndale, WA

With proper maintenance, permeable pavement can last for over 20 years. Bi-annual vacuuming prevents clogs from debris and sediment, extends the pavement’s lifespan, and helps you avoid costly driveway repairs. Permeable pavement often has a shorter lifespan in areas with heavy traffic or harsh weather conditions.

Pervious and porous usually refer to pouring asphalt or concrete—which is a single massive object—but with enough small holes to allow for even drainage. This is also sometimes called thirsty concrete. Permeable concrete pavers are precast concrete designed to also allow for drainage. Permeable grass pavers allow grass to grow through them and provide drainage.

Pervious, porous, and permeable pavers are similar because they make it easier for rain or snow to drain or absorb into the ground rather than overload the storm or sewer systems.

The most significant benefit of water-permeable pavement is that it helps precipitation absorb better (and slower) into the ground, which avoids overloading sewers and causing overflows and backups. It also helps recharge the groundwater and prevent agricultural runoff from lawns.

If you’ve ever seen water rushing into a storm drain, permeable pavement prevents that. Instead of water running off a steep driveway, a good amount of it “soaks” directly underneath the pavement.

Topmix permeable concrete costs $8 to $16 per square foot, including all installation costs. However, they give out estimates on a project-by-project basis. However, Tarmac, the company that made the product, no longer produces Topmix.

Ecoraster is a brand that offers many different permeable paving options in North America. Prices vary depending on the product and project. They’ll give estimates for each individual project. While not actual pavers, these grids serve a similar function. Ecoraster grids come in various styles and allow for similar drainage compared to permeable pavers or porous paving.

Permeable driveways may cost slightly more than a traditional paving type, but they reduce or eliminate the need to install any other type of drainage system. Drainage systems cost $2,000 to $6,500 to install. They also reduce stormwater runoff, sewer overflows, and help eliminate urban agriculture runoff, which can pollute waterways.
