"We were very satisfied. Mr. Turner promptly returned our call and came out to give us an estimate within 24 hours. His company was professional, courteous and cleaned up the area each day prior to leaving. We feel the work is of the highest quality and would recommend Turner Roofing highly."

"As usual, Robert and his crew did an excellent job of adding in and blending 2 more pallets of pavers to make a unique pathway that my wife designed. He was flexible to our schedule and the price was agreed on well in advance of the work. I would highly recommend his services but don't be discouraged if he is unable to respond immediatley because this is an incredibly busy man."

"
When we wanted guttering installed 3 years ago, we did extensive research and discovered that all, or most, of the listed installers bought their guttering from this company. So, best to go to the source. We also discovered that for S. Florida you need the jumbo sized gutters, as anything smaller can't handle the storms we get here. Most of the other installers did not carry the largest size, as I understand that they would need special equipment to handle and cut the lengths.

Rutland passed us over to their sister company, Premier Guttering (Pompano Beach) to make a quote and do the job. The initial job was around $1,050 3 years ago and the add on bit this past April was $350.

At the appointed time, their truck showed up with large rolls of flat aluminum. Their machine rolled and shaped the required lengths.

They did an excellent job installing the big guttering and despite all the heavy rain we have seen here, there has never been an overflow or leak. I do believe this is the best guttering you can get in S. Florida. When we had the add on, we were expecting them to cut an existing section and tap the new part in, but they insisted on replacing the original length, so there would be no joints.

If you have a house down here and need new guttering - get the proper sized gutters!

Just to be clear, I understand that Rutland makes the aluminum rolls and Premier is their local sister company in S. Florida.

"

"Everything started well. They were responsive to my inquiries and proposed a fair price. They started on time and the job seemed to move along quickly. When I came home for lunch one day after the old roof was removed and the felt was installed. I asked the job foreman about the roof straps that were part of the job. He gave me a deer in the headlights look and told me that they were being installed. The next day, I came home for lunch again and they had removed the felt and started installing the straps. Fast forward to job completion, I hired a wind mitigation inspector for insurance purposes. He went up in the attic and found that the straps that were installed in the attic were installed improperly. So, I called and set up a day for Seaside to come back out and fix the straps. I took a day off from work to let them in the attic. They were supposed to be there at 8 am. Nobody showed up! So, I called to inquire just before 9, and was told that their worker called in sick and they would not be there that day. So, we rescheduled for 2 days later. My father waited at the house for them to show up, and again, they were a no-show! Again, I didn't receive a call from them and had to call them around 9:30 am to find out what was going on. They said there was an emergency at another job and they would not be there that day either. Again, they didn't call me to cancel, I had to call them to find out what was going on. This is where I must point out one of the most frustrating things about this project. The Sales Manager Dee is probably one of the worst communicators I have ever met. He is totally inconsiderate and is like talking to a wall! That said, we rescheduled and they fixed the straps in the attic over the garage. I asked while they were there to make sure the rest of the house was completed properly. Dee assured me that all we done. The mistake was due to a new hire working on the straps over the garage. I still had an uneasy feeling about this. So, I decided to climb around in the attic and check the work myself. I found that they had not even installed straps in three areas of the house. It was about this time (or a little before) that I started calling the office requesting to speak to the owner of the company (more to come on this). In the mean time, I called and scheduled them to come back out and install the straps. I took another day off of work to let them in the attic (2nd day off wasted!). They came and installed the straps in two of the places and said they would be back in a few days to finish the last area. They finally did finish the job. During this process, I called the office, the Sales Manager and emailed the receptionist requesting to speak to the owner. My count was 10 times! Mr. Snyder finally gave me a call and I expressed my concerns and let him know how his employees were failing. He apologized, but failed to offer any concessions for all of the time his company wasted (my two days off and my father having to be there for 2 days). I requested that they pay for the re-inspection of the wind mitigation and he agreed to let me take that off of the final payment. I really didn't want to ask for money off for my time, I was expecting that he would offer something for that. If something like this happened with my company, I would bend over backwards for the customer. This was not done! I am very disappointed with the service this company provided! When all is said and done, I am pleased with the roof, but would highly recommend hiring another roofing contractor for your roofing needs.
"

"Mark and the craftsmen at Flametech sell and install fireplaces, outdoor kitchens, and central vacuum systems. Their showroom is stocked with good examples of their possibilities. Mark is a self described detail fanatic. We chose Flametech because we were confident that they could handle a complicated installation that included removing the old, inoperative 1995 era gas firebox & vent and replacing it with a modern gas linear design including placement for a flat screen TV above the fireplace. The installation included conduit for the TV and sound system wiring & equipment. The coralstone surround is beautiful and well worth the wait. The entire job took 13 weeks, much longer than expected. This was due to a combination of my travel, and Flametech's busy schedule. There were some days when we expected the workers to arrive, but they were pulled to other jobs. When they were on the job they were professional, friendly, and very skilled. We have had to have two follow-up service calls, one for a gas leak and one for an inoperative electronic component. In each case the technicians arrived within an hour of our call to Flametech and repaired the offending equipment. Mark explained that they do not do "finish work" so we had to get a carpenter to finish the drywall and we are waiting for the baseboard to be reinstalled. I installed the TV and sound system electronics. Flametech ran the conduit for all the wiring and did a first rate job which made my installation of the TV electronics easy. This was a complicated installation and we are very happy with the end result. I will try to post a photo of the completed installation.
"

"The first unit was delivered in a timely manner. However, the carrier did not adhere to the shippers warnings about product fragility and the unit was received in a damaged state. The unit was sent back to Classic Copperworks for repair. The repair was treated as a priority by Mr. Threadgill, who had the unit shipped back to me in three weeks. It arrived in good condition that time.
Mr Threadgill was very helpful in providing support in order to finish our project. He even had a caulking product sent to us in order to help with flashing the unit. That meant alot.
I am not a professional contractor, but was able to install the unit myself with his support. However, my profession does provide me the opportunity to serve the public and as such, I feel that I am more than qualified in commenting on good service. While Classic Copperworks may not be the cheapest provider of goods and services, they stand behind their product and provide great support. It requiress a "leap of faith" to order an expensive unit from an out-of-state provider with no prior mutual history, but I can attest to my complete satisfaction.
WRS

"

Just bought a new house a year ago my Builder uses Cardinal Roofing in my development called the Strand every single person that I know has been pleased with there roof. We have heard up strong during the 2 hurricanes that grazed us with 70 mile winds last year no leaks no issues. During my 1 year inspection we had a couple of chipped tiles which Cardinal Replaced with no problem. What makes this company special is the People Like Jennifer D and Bruce R. Both of them have priceless experience and a fist in class customer service approach. They go the extra mile and there crews are the best. This will probably be the last roof I will own in my lifetime and have been blessed that my Builder Choose Cardinal who is by far the best roofer ever.
