"I discovered James Hardie siding on Instagram. I dm’d the company to find local providers. They had two companies contact me to quote pricing. I chose Gunner because they came to me prepared. Prior to my quote they sent me a link for an app to download to my cell. Using the app camera I took a variety of pictures of the exterior of my house which enabled them to measure for pricing. When they came to me to quote the job, they presented to me the benefits of James Hardie, but then there was a solid quote right then for the project, with additional add-on pricing for embellishments. I had all the info right there, on the spot. They left a sample of siding colors. I signed a few days later. I had a clear idea of pricing and their plan for proceeding with the project. My house had vinyl siding that was probably installed in the ‘80s. It was brittle and breaking. During the “ripping” phase (removing existing siding) there was a lot of wood rot (plenty of pics texted to me during the entire process) that was replaced with new sheets of wood. Also discovered were entry points for mice (an on going problem that I have always battled), and I was told that this job would close up those entry points (problem solved!). The “wrapping” part of the process was when they put Hardie wrap over the wood sheet, but before the siding. Then installing the siding went pretty quickly. I chose Iron Gray for the siding, and Arctic White for the trim and water table. My property was left in better condition after the project compared to prior. All Gunner employees were very responsive (I prefer texting), and very easy to work with. I feel that the pricing was very much in line with the competition. This was a huge job. I was very anxious about my decisions. Now that the project is done, I am thrilled. Gunner was one of the best decisions I have made, to date."

"Kevin and Nick were EXCELLENT. Kevin gave the price for services up front. After inspecting my chimney, he was concern about the wear and tear and loose tiles. He told me there would be an additional charge if he had to address those issues during installation. He assured me he would do everything to avoid further damage to avoid additional charges. He came through without any problems. The installation went perfect. The job was completed in just over an hour. Kevin and Nick were prompt, pleasant and professional. They laid a dropcloth from the front door to my basement door to avoid dirtying my floor. They completely cleaned up the work area when finished. I am completely satisfied with their work. My neighbor recommended them because of everything I just stated."

"Shortly after I posted my review And heard what I had to say, And then in an effort to make things correct because my feeling was that the person was trying to nickel and they offered to refund half the cost which I declined to go that far I did ask for a partial refund but not the level of half can make fair for them and to keep with average cost for such project. And highly recommend them. And I would recommend them. The company contacted me and they made the situation right. On the positive side, they contacted me and scheduled someone to come out quickly. I explained what I needed, which was replacement of a chimney rain cap. I was told the fee for someone to come out and inspect. I asked if that would go towards services, should I have chosen them and was told yes. The technician came out and wanted to do an inspection, which was fine - because one never knows. He was very pleasant - and used a drone to take pictures of the chimney. The company contacted me and they made the situation right. On the not-so-positive side, he kept trying to up-sell. I told him I only wanted the rain cap to keep rain out, because we plan to get rid of the chimney in year or two. He kept trying to tell me I needed it - even after I explained that the chimney is only for the current water heater, which we will replace with a tankless heater. He wanted to do the masonry and to install a second one, though it wasn't essential. He suggested the nice rain cap. We spent a lot of time talking about why I didn't need it. Then we get to the price... the initial price was ridiculously high. Beyond the range my research showed, so I said no. He offered 2, but still very high and I said no - only for what I asked for. Then he asked which one I wanted replaced and I said the one that is missing. Initially, when he thought he was getting $1000 out of me, he said the fee for inspection was waved. When it was just the 1 cap he said he would charge a lower rate. Thinking back, I should have seen those as warnings and gone elsewhere. But, I was worried about water damage and went against my normal rule. Get 3 quotes and then decide."

I requested a cost breakdown and to see if quote could be adjusted based on only the services we needed and never got a response back. The person also recommended a black roof but Phila code requires reflective roof."

He not only re-cleaned our flue that had just been done but installed a new flue into our badly constructed chimney. Even after having to cut into our chimney 2x to get the flue to fit he stuck to his original quote. Bob (and both of his crew) were extremely professional and the kind of company you don't find too often. DON"T hesitate to call him."
