I recently had six-month HVAC maintenance and a water heater flush done during the same visit. The next day, I found that I had no hot water. During the follow-up visit, we discovered the water heater had not been turned back on after service. Once it was turned on, it began making very loud banging sounds. I was also concerned that very little sediment seemed to come out during the flush. What further bothered me was that after the immediate issue was addressed, the conversation shifted toward upselling additional services, which felt inappropriate under the circumstances.
