"We had previously hired Paz Painting to remove popcorn from the ceilings in 2 rooms and hired his crew again to do the same in our dining and living rooms, an entryway and the upstairs stairwell ceiling. They also painted several rooms. They did a great job in both regards and did a nice job of cleaning up when done. Narciso is easy to work with and I would definitely hire his company again."

"Jesus and his team with top level services were very professional. They were punctual and courteous. They installed cabinets in my kitchen that they built from scratch. The outcome of their work was very impressive. The workmanship was top notch. Most of all they were very reasonable on their price. I will recommending family and friends to use their services and I will use this company for future projects in my home. Thank you Jesus."

FAQs for small projects painting or staining projects in Graham, NC

You'll need about two gallons of paint to fully cover your kitchen cabinets with two coats. Since each gallon covers around 350 square feet, it's a good idea to measure your cabinets or use a paint calculator to determine exactly how much you'll need. Starting with one or two coats of primer and then applying two to three layers of paint will give you a flawless, durable finish. Using high-quality paint can reduce the number of coats needed and provide a long-lasting finish.

The best type of paint for your kitchen cabinets is latex paint because it applies evenly and creates a durable finish. If you're painting wood surfaces and need extra adhesion, acrylic paint is a great alternative. We don't recommend oil-based paint for residential use due to its VOC emissions. For finishes, go with eggshell, semi-gloss, gloss, or satin, as matte finishes aren't as durable or as easy to clean.

The best method for painting kitchen cabinets is spray painting because it gives you a smooth, even finish without brush strokes. While brushes and rollers can work, they often leave marks and require more effort. If you're aiming for a professional look, spray painting is your best bet to enhance the beauty and durability of your cabinets.
