"I met Joshua when he came out to give us our estimate. Good customer service skills and answered any and all questions I had. When we finalized the contract Josh gave us dates when they would be able to start the driveway as weather permitted. Josh kept to those dates and again explained how this was going to work and that the driveway would be completed in 2 days. Everything went as planned. "Chris always returned the calls in timely manner. Concrete projects usually need waiting based on company's book-of-work and weather. Therefore, Chris proactively called me every two weeks to update me the latest, after he told me in Mar that my project probably be on in May. The price is very reasonable. Plus, I like the way of pricing - the qoute is lump-sum and no additional charge for 'trivials' during the project. When the project began, we found the steps of side door need to be removed and re-made. Chris did not charge me additionally for the new steps."

"Andrews Concrete is the company to be hiring.  Andrew and crew (Mary, Mark and others) take pride in their quality of work and addition to detail.  They replaced my old asphalt driveway and old concrete sidewalk with a beautiful brushed concrete driveway and sidewalk.  Cut lines are equally spaced, straight as an arrow and not too deep.  Concrete is reinforced with wire mesh and rebar to hold the weight of my truck.  Base graded at good depth and compacted.  Keep your Saturday open for inspection to get a very fair price quote, which is written clearly with details laid out to exactly what work is expected.  They came in Tuesday, removed the old and set forms for the pour on Wednesday.   They came back with-in two days to cut the concrete when weather gave way for dryer conditions.  They cleaned up every day after working.  I choose to back fill myself since I had plenty of top soil leftover from my landscaping around house.  They are very knowledgeable concerning concrete and can thoroughly answer all your questions and concerns and provide great guidance on the care of your concrete.  I formerly did some concrete work in my younger years and am very satisfied with Andrews Concrete."

"I have been through this before where you have a rather small job involving concrete. The job is too much to mix by hand but getting a contractor to bid on it is near impossible because the money for them is in driveways and big jobs. I tried last fall without success and in the mean time found out that 2 of my neighbors needed similar work: one driveway apron replaced and one service sidewalk (like mine) replaced. I thought that with 3 smaller jobs we would be able to get someone to bid on it. I contacted 4 contractors from Angie's List and got 2 of them to respond. Tom Haning told me when he would come to look at the jobs, showed up on time and gave me a written quote for each of the 3 jobs before he left. The other contractor was late showing up, gave me verbal quotes at the time and when I asked for written ones, he never responded. The email address on his company website was also invalid. One of the neighbors decided she wanted something different from the original quote and Tom responded and re-quoted her job. We all decided to have the work done and notified Mr. Haning. Since I was going to be out of town for a couple of weeks, we tentatively scheduled for after Memorial Day. Tom contacted us on Memorial Day and said that he would be out the next day at 7am. He showed up at 6:45 and with his crew, formed, hand dug and prepped my sidewalk area. He also prepped the other 2 jobs and then the following day at 8am, the concrete truck arrived and they poured all 3 jobs, finished the concrete and even pulled the forms by the end of the day. Since one of the jobs involved a driveway apron which requires a better concrete mix, the other neighbor and myself benefited as well on our sidewalks. Tom and his crew are very professional and cleaned up the area and the street. Although I don't anticipate any further concrete work, I would not hesitate contacting T.W.
