"This pro provided useful information via a virtual (online) video consultation. Since this service does not send technicians to the home, they did not do the actual work. I am considering whether to order parts and try to complete the repair myself or under their virtual direction."

"I was very happy with the service. It was easy to schedule - friendly, professional and quick. Scott arrived on time, was very friendly and knowledgeable. He diagnosed the problem with my refrigerator and was able to make a speedy repair. He was very informative about the issue and the repair. It was well worth the call. I would recommend Scott/Mister Service to my friends and would definitely call them again. Thank you!"

"I contacted Schuyler because he had successfully repaired the oven in my gas range two years ago after another company botched the repair and overcharged me. This time I contacted him because my dishwasher was leaking and one of the burners on my gas range had ceased to ignite, despite repeated cleanings. Schuyler came to my house at the appointed time and quickly diagnosed the problems. He warned me that it could take up to two weeks to receive a part from Bosch, the dishwasher manufacturer, and indeed it did. As soon as he received both parts (the rubber seal for the dishwasher and the gas burner), Schuyler contacted me and made an appointment to come to the house to install them. He was on time for the appointment, and he worked quickly and efficiently. He is highly professional, very courteous, and very skilled. He is my first choice whenever I need a repair to a major appliance."

"McHales was the most expensive contractor we looked at but no matter who we went with it was going to be a big job.  The bathroom is tiny but the tear out was a bear.  It was old wet set tile circa 1959.  Let me put it this way, without the wall studs the shower was still standing. <br /> We came to McHales after being burned by a previous contractor.  We had already picked tile with the other guy so when we met with their designer I had a really good idea of what we wanted for the bathroom.  So I can't say much about their designer since we didn't really utilize him. <br /> The tear out was awful as mentioned.  I felt bad for the guys because they seemed exhausted trying to take the stuff out.  It took 3 days to tear out a 9X6 bathroom.  I know bathrooms take time and you have to wait on inspections and behind the scenes stuff but I was under the impression, per our contract, that we would have guys working there from 8:30-4:30.  Only about 1 or 2 days did that actually happen.  Sometimes there would only be someone there in the morning and leave at noon and then no one for the entire afternoon.  I'm not sure if that was because of inspections and other things but I had thought there would be more constant work.  <br /> When the job was almost done the owner did stop by to check it out.  Unfortunately I was putting our 2 y.o. down for a nap so I couldn't meet him. <br /> Overall the main chunk of our money went to the rip out of the old bathroom.  However, the finishing of our new bathroom isn't what I would expect from spending nearly $19K.  The walls aren't smooth, you can see the tape through the mudding at the ceiling, things like that. <br /> As for the guys themselves, they were all super nice. Our oldest son loved the head installer and looked for his red truck every day. Everyone was helpful, apologetic of the noise (we have 2 boys under the age of 2.5 yrs), and professional. <br />"

"I?ve had them since I moved in here for my air conditioning and heating system. I?ve been here for 2 ? years. The only problem was them diagnosing the exact problem, it took them 4 or 5 times that they came out before they figured out what was wrong. I have a contract with them, so it basically didn?t cost me anything even if they came 10 times. They came right away and they were concerned about trying to figure out what was wrong. It was an intermittent problem, so that was the reason they couldn?t figure it out completely. With the service contract, it didn?t really cost me anything more."
