"This is the third time I hired Mark of Elegance Painting — and for good reason. Haniyf and his crew always do a great job, explain everything that they are going to do ahead of time, answer all questions, and stand behind their work. As always, the guys showed up on time, ready to get to work. Due a miscommunication on my part, I had not yet purchased the paint. Normally, Haniyf does that, but he was trying to provide me with an option to purchase my own materials and I had neglected to follow through on that option. Without hesitation, question, or complaint, Haniyf immediately left to pick up the paint at one of the suppliers he uses. He had already provided me with 5 different options of paint and their associated characteristics, benefits, coverages, and costs. We had agreed on Sherwin-Williams Armorseal Tread-Plex as the right candidate for our particular needs and budget. Our home was built in 1911 and the original basement concrete had never been painted (except for one room). Haniyf brought me a material spec sheet, listing all the product’s information — yet another confidence-building gesture on his part. We were delighted at how quickly and efficiently the team worked, vacuuming and cleaning the bare surfaces, then “cutting” in all the peripheries and wall/floor junctures by hand, before rolling on the main coating. It is amazing to see professionals at work, with such steady, sure hands. The crew completed the entire job by early that same afternoon. Haniyf and I discussed whether or not a second coat was even necessary. The paint’s coverage was outstanding and — as an industrial-level quality paint (used in warehouses, production shops, hospitals, offices, and laboratories) — a second coat was hardly needed. Although Haniyf was willing to apply a second coat the following day, he leveled with me that it would only be “overkill” for a basement. In his professional opinion, it simply was not necessary. Of course, his honesty also saved me from incurring additional man-hour labor charges. Since the crew finished sooner than I had expected, Haniyf gave a extremely reasonable price. I felt that they deserved more and was pleased that the job was completely so quickly and thoroughly. I actually had to twist his arm to get him to accept an additional amount of money. The job looks superb and we are very happy. Again, I give Mark of Elegance a top grade review across the board and would recommend his team to anyone. Thanks again Haniyf!"

He made good observations and asked good questions during his visit, told us what to expect and how he would address problems. This included replacing damaged drywall, repairing a sagging ceiling that was water damaged, and spraying the "Popcorn" plaster on the ceiling. Also, the entire downstairs was subsequently painted. I was very satisfied with the drywall repair, I was very satisfied with the repair of the sagging ceiling, and the re-spraying of the popcorn plaster on the ceiling was excellent.
