"I just bought a 35yr old house that was well built and well maintained. Given the age however I wanted to be sure there were not hidden problems. So I had the chimney cleaned and inspected. There were minor age related issues with mortar in the flu, old caps, roof flashing, brickwork that need pointing, etc. Fireplace Pros performed the inspection then returned in a couple weeks and fixed all the problems in a day. Should be good for another 35 years. They were professional, prompt, and personable. I highly recommend them"

"Did full inspection; chimney liner too small and in process of checking, found the liner wasn’t even secured. Crew from Kicking Ash did superb job of evaluation, diagnosing problem, explaining everything clearly and providing detailed information on solution. They were polite, friendly, professional and competent. They replaced the chimney liner, fixed damper, insulated as needed and secured new liner and completed repairs on chimney on roof. Very complete and each step explained. While I really appreciated their competence and expertise, what was even more important to me was their honesty, commitment to quality work, high standards and comprehensiveness of services. This was the best service I have ever had through an Angie’s List service, I would strongly support their service and urge working with them."

"I was pleased by the work. While here, he also replaced the spark screen at the top of the chimney. What really sold me was that after he finished, he told me that based on the amount of build-up in the chimney, I really didn't need to have it cleaned every year. When someone tells you that you don't need to use their service every year, you know they are looking out for your interests and not just their bottom line. <br />"

"Mark responded quickly to the Village at Hidden Ravines condo associations request for an estimate to clean, repair and seal our chimneys. He was willing to work with the condo association and accommodate our schedule. His crew showed up on time and did a great job, they were courteous to the residents. The chimneys looked great when they finished and they were very careful to clean up the area."

"Everything went well. The owner of the company cleans the chimney himself, and he is always pleasant and thorough."

"During the cleaning and repainting of the wood insert black paint was painted where it should not be and gold paint was painted on stove front where it should not be. Minor but not professional none the less. <br /> Chimney sweep stated that chimneys clay flue tiles had cracks and needed a new flue liner. I got a quote from him. Later spoke with the owner and the chimney sweep receiving a slightly better deal on a new flue liner install. <br /> For the flue liner install the Installers arrived a little late due to traffic. Spent all day trying to install and having issues. They worked from the roof and I was/am concerned that there may be damage from the time and effort they put in to the install while on the roof. Finally they knocked out bricks on the exterior so they could get the flue insert around the smoke shelf and told me the flue was now in correctly. <br /> When replacing the bricks, which were knocked out, there was too much masonry and not enough brick making the visual effect non aesthetic. I spoke with owner and he had the same individual come back and redo the job a week later. I was still not impressed but I accepted the work which was completed as I did not want any more damage to the masonry. They did put a nice cap on the chimney top. <br /> I recently tried to use the wood burner and believe there to be an issue with the install. Twice I have started a fire within the stove and twice I have had a room full of smoke before the fire and smoke begin to exit the flue. (Yes, I opened the flue vent cover.) I believe the flue is crimped and when warmer weather arrives will have them back to take a look at their work and be sure that I am getting the proper draft from the flue. Smoke before heat is indicative of an issue with the new flue insert installation. <br />"

"Technician was prompt and professional. Explained what he was doing during the cleaning. Also explained what he saw inside the chimney in relation to the type of logs we had burned. My condo was left in immaculate condition. Procedure was quick and nicely done."

"Overall very satisfied with Bradley Builders. Owner Brad Arensburg did the estimate and spent time with my wife and I explaining the job and estimate. Of the four quotes we got for the roof (including several larger companies with excellent reputations), his was the most thorough and was the only company that proposed removing the vinyl siding to replace the step flashing with new step flashing that matched the installation specs of the new shingle size, which my own research confirmed would be the best way to install the new roof. Brad's cost was not the cheapest option but also not the most expensive we were quoted, and offered the most thorough scope of work (the siding work added several hours of labor performed by Brad and his assistant exclusively). Estimate was done in late June 2019 and work was completed in early August. Cleanup was thorough and Brad was onsite throughout the day to supervise the work crew personally, working on the roof alongside his crew. The new roof looks great and we have had no problems with it since August."

"They were recommended to me by a local person, Suburban Fireplace, because I had gotten tired of throwing my money out of the window on unsatisfactory work. They were absolutely wonderful. Robert knew exactly what he was looking for, and he explained to me how the fireplace works. He pointed out features I knew nothing about, and he made great suggestions. I felt completely enlightened after speaking with him. Felix, the owner, was in constant contact with me to schedule the power-washing when the weather cooperated. Once it was dried, they finished up with a waterproof sealant. Robert did both the power-washing and the sealing, and what I appreciated most about him was that he never pressured me into unnecessary repairs. I really liked his thoughtful overview and his helpful suggestions, and that he never pushed services that I did not need. He truly seemed concerned with helping me maintain my home and keeping it in good, working order. They were both fantastic, and I would not hesitate to use them in the future."
