"If I could give Perry’s 10 stars I would! They are the best business I have encountered in decades! 1. A human being answers the phone, no annoying phone trees or “leave a message and we’ll get back with you.” 2. The person answering the phone actually knew something about the business and after listening to my issues gave me some possibilities about the problem with a ball park estimate for repair. I did not expect them to be able to diagnose it over the phone but at least I had an idea of the seriousness and cost of the repair. He could not give me an appointment but said the owner would call me. 3. The owner called me within ten minutes; he set up a time for the following day. No playing phone tag. They seemed to realize my time is just as valuable as theirs. 4. The repairman called me the next day within the window of the appointment time to tell me he was on his way. He called me back with the estimate. All of the parts were on the truck; he made the repairs that same day. 5. The owner called me, told me what the fee was and took my CC info over the phone because he wanted to ensure my security versus other methods of payments. I felt they were honest and their fees reasonable. For the first time in a very long time I did not feel like I was getting ripped off. And they did the repairs on a Saturday! This is how a business should run! I am so tired of the mentality of most businesses where they seem to say to me “yeah, we’ll take your hard earned money, we are going to treat you like crap and feed you a lot of excuses and BS and our job may or may not work.” Perry’s is a godsend. I will exclusively use them for all my well needs in the future – and if they do other types of work I will use them and if they can’t do the work, I will use them for a reference. Superb business!!"

"Came same day called as my pump would not kick on.  Turned out a branch had hit electric box and disconnected contacts.  Ryan reconnected everything to make sure pump worked.  I mentioned that I needed a new tank as mine was slowly leaking but getting worse.  He discussed and explained everything he had to do and what the costs would be before doing any work.  Once he started the job he worked non stop until it was finished.  It was amazing to see all the work he did.  He was a one man team.  The work was great and the customer service even better.  This is a company I have used before and will continue to do so.  I always recommend them to my friends. <br />"

"I called Mr. Glattli on January 2, 2013 and left a voicemail at 10am. He returned my call at 3pm. He asked what I needed taken care of and we set an appointment for the next day at 10am. Mr. Glattli and his helper, Bill, arrived right on time. With no time wasted, I took him to the kitchen sink and went over the four things I needed fixed or where concerned about. <br /> Bill made a few trips to the van procurring the necessary tools needed as Mr. Glattli got to work. He started in replacing the corroded pipe. Then did the new shut off valves as Bill raced outside to shut off the water supply. A torch was applied to loosen the old valves free. The replacement went off quite smoothly, of course. This guy really knows what he's doing!! <br /> The leaky faucet was next with an inspection of my spritzer hose that was found to be in good shape. <br /> Both guys are professional and quite efficient. I wish I'd known about them last year when I needed a new water heater installed. <br /> Mr. Glattli is my type of guy. Laid back, low key and totally professional! I heartily recommend and will use him from now on! <br />"

"<p>Got up early Sunday morning to get ready for church and had no water.  I checked the breakers and none were thrown.  Went outside to determine the problem and pressure tank read zero pressure.  Even though in-ground well pump and pressure tank had been replaced two years ago, I thought the worst.  Went on Angie?s List to search for someone to come out and look at the problem and found Robert?s Well Drilling.  They had 100% ?A? ratings.  Gave them a call, and talked to Mr. Roberts.  I explained what the issue was and what I had done already (checked the breakers, check pressure switch, looked for burst pipe, etc). I told him I did find a lizard (or what was left of the crispy critter) on top of the switch.  After asking if I was a handyman, he recommended that I turn the power off to the pump and pressure switch, go back to the pressure switch and clean off the points with an emory board, as part of the lizard may be stopping the points from making contact.  I cleaned the points and turned the breakers back on and GOT WATER.  I called Mr. Roberts back, told him the good news and offered to buy him lunch the next time he was in Wesley Chapel.  I was really impressed in that here was an opportunity to do a service call on a Sunday (at $125 minimum) but took the time to see if I had done everything I could for myself prior to him coming out.  This speaks volumes of the type of individual he is and how he treats his customers.  I highly recommend him for your water needs. </p> <br />"

"<em><strong>Don's Plumbing called American Leak Detection and they located leak.  Don's plumbing followed their place of said leak and<br /> and opened up living room floor to expose leak and repair and then seal up again.  Don's plumbing were complete professionals telling us what was going to happen and giving us time to prepare the house for the drilling, etc.  They completely restored everything back to where it was as much as possible.  So glad they are our plumbers for big and small problems.    </strong></em> <br />"

FAQs for sump pump repair or replace projects in Inverness, FL

Sump pumps last about 10 years with proper maintenance and prompt repairs. Several factors can influence your sump pump’s lifespan, such as usage, environmental conditions, and installation. Premium sump pumps with heavy-duty motors and quality components tend to last longer than lower-cost models. Pedestal sump pumps usually last longer than submersible models since they’re not constantly exposed to water.

A basement French drain is a drainage system installed in basements or around a building’s foundation to redirect water and prevent flooding. This system features a trench with a perforated pipe that catches and transports water away. These systems can crack, freeze, or clog, potentially resulting in flooding or strain on your sump pump.

You can use a sump pump in your yard to minimize pooling water and landscape damage, but it’s best used in conjunction with other drainage systems. This can include French drains, trench drains, underground downspouts, and other equipment. Proper lawn care, such as soil aeration and native plants, also aids with drainage.
