"Initially, I spoke with a Sales Manager who called me repeatedly after asking for a quote online. After he called so many times, we decided to call him back. I had him on speakerphone and 5 of us were asking questions. We were promised that if we signed up for the service and it did not work, they would come out to re-service as many times as it took to get rid of these mosquitoes. After the initial service delivery, we were asked to wait a week to notice the change and we waited a week and a half. I called today, only to speak to a *Corporate Quality Manager* who advised I could NOT speak with the Sales Manager and that she would be handling my account. She said they would send someone on 9/30; however, if this did not work, they would NOT be coming out again until the Mosquito Season started again, which means, that even if the mosquitoes persist after 9/30, we are on our own and out the nearly $100 we paid for the first month of service. When I tried to tell her that we were promised something different, she kept robotically repeating herself over and over again that she would be handling my account, the Sales Manager made false promises, that the service would not be continued until Mosquito season started again, and that there was no one else that could help because there is NO ONE above her and that she could resend the agreement if I wanted to read it. She said it was fine if we wanted to cancel the service but we would still have the honor of the agreement. No matter how many times I tried to complete a sentence, she would talk over me. I am willing to have them come out to try again tomorrow, but I do not see myself keeping this service with that kind of representation. I would NOT recommend this company to anyone that expects great customer service."

"Calvin was who called me back and he said in order for them to come out and give me a service I would have to sign an agreement that I would continue with them for a year. When I asked what happens if I'm not happy with the job, Calvin said it would be no problem to discontinue. Well, I wan't happy with the job, though the tech that came out to service our home was very nice and professional. However, it did not take care of my pest problem so after 2 tries I cancelled. Now they are saying I have to pay a disconnect fee per the agreement. I told them what I was told and all they would say is "I apologize." Clearly this is a rehearsed line that they've told others. I would have to say that this is a dishonest company. Saying what it takes to get the job and then holding you responsible for their poor work. I am a bit cautious to say the least to go with Angies again if this is whom they are recommending."

FAQs for rodent pest control service projects in Irving, TX

Rodent exclusion seals every gap, vent, and crack that rodents use to sneak inside your home. Most homeowners pay an average of $200 to $600 for this add-on. By blocking entry points, you create a long-term barrier that cuts down on repeat infestations and helps protect both your family and your property.

Pros start with an inspection, then place tamper-resistant bait stations and traps in high-traffic spots. They’ll also seal entry points and clean droppings to reduce health risks. Follow-up visits confirm that the plan worked and that no new rodents have moved in. This step-by-step approach removes the current infestation and helps keep your home rodent-free going forward.

A trained pest-control pro can pinpoint hidden access points using a flashlight, thermal imaging, and plenty of crawl-space sleuthing. During an inspection, the specialist maps every gap, vent, or pipe run that rats use, then explains how to seal each one. This detailed report lets you tackle the weak spots immediately and dramatically lowers the odds of another infestation.

Rodent prevention starts with managing food and entry points. Store pantry items in airtight containers, take out trash promptly, and keep pet food sealed. Outside, trim vegetation and stack firewood away from the house. Inside, seal gaps with steel wool or hardware cloth. A tidy yard and a buttoned-up home give rats and mice few reasons—or routes—to move in.

For wall or attic nests, pros place snap traps or CO2-powered units in the exact runways rats use, then return to remove carcasses and reset as needed. Poison is risky indoors because rats may die in hidden spots, creating odors or health issues, so most technicians avoid it. Once trapping is complete, they’ll seal entry points and clean droppings to finish the job.

Plan on several weeks, especially for larger infestations. Your pro will set traps, return every few days to collect rats, and adjust placement until activity stops. Final visits include sealing access points and sanitizing affected areas. Timelines vary, but most homes are rat-free after two to four follow-ups. Prompt scheduling and good sanitation can shorten the process.
