"I am a senior on a fixed income and my old fence was falling down and the gate was hard for me to open and close. I was worried that the neighbors dogs would get in my yard and chase my cats. Darran was able to work with me to get it replaced very quickly which was very important to me. The new gate works so well I can open it I don’t have to struggle anymore. My new fence looks so nice!"

"They're absolutely topnotch. It couldn't got better. He was there everyday. He worked rain or shine. He did little things that made the overall installation worked twice or three times as much. He pointed out things that were wrong with the house that had nothing to do with his installation and so he helped us identify a different issue. Their price is right in a ballpark with everybody else."

"Very poor customer service and follow through after they get paid.  They did the whole bid process over the phone and email and never once came to our property.  This made me nervous, but they came highly recommended.  When I questioned this, I was told not to worry they do most of their bids by email when the gate is preexisting and our job was ?pretty straight forward? and I could count on them to take care of their customers.  <br /> NOT TRUE!! Our driveway is a causeway across a lake!!  How could that possibly be straight forward?  This was clearly visible in the photos I sent them.  I judge service best when something does go wrong.  How the does company then live up to their promises?  With Cornerstone, they promised to bury the gate opening wand IN the drive where it would not be seen.  When they got out here, they said they couldn?t.  Something they would have KNOWN had they bothered to do an onsite inspection before bid.  Now I have an UGLY LONG antennae lying on my shoreline. <br /> Their solution to make it right,?  they gave us 50 bucks on a 3 grand bill and left us to fix the mess. <br /> Here are the actual exchanges <br /> ___________________________________ <br /> THEY PROMISE TO MAKE IT RIGHT AND THEN TELL ME I SHOULD BE HAPPY WITH HOW HARD THEY WORKED ON MY BID??  What does that have to do with the ugliness on our property and the work they did not complete per their bid? <br /> From: Glenda Miller [mailto:gmiller@cornerstonefencing.com] <br /> Sent: Wednesday, November 20, 2013 8:49 AM <br /> To: Phipps, Shari L <br /> Subject: Invoice INV5997 from Cornerstone Fencing Inc. <br /> Shari, <br />  I have given you the $50.00 discount. So the balance due is $1,450.00. <br />  Cornerstone strives on happy customers, we had to do alot of research to make sure we were getting you the correct and best for your money items for your situation (long range receiver and transmitters compitable that would work with the Solar operator). <br />  We are truly sorry that you are not a happy customer but please remember if you do have any issues or questions with your system we are here to help you. <br />  thank you for your business, <br /> Glenda <br />   <br /> From: Phipps, Shari L <br /> Sent: Tuesday, November 19, 2013 2:27 PM <br /> To: sales@cornerstonefencing.com <br /> Subject: gate update for Rich <br /> Justin was wonderful and professional.  Showed up on time and installed gate [operators].  Explained and demonstrated its features articulating and patiently and left us with a smile. <br /> One negative will have to addressed; however, he said he could not bury the wand.  It lies beside our driveway in the lake view and is very unsightly.  I am sure you will agree we should not have to pay for having a wand ditched and buried when that did not happen. <br /> Suggested resolutions <br /> ·         haul in gravel to cover it where it lays <br /> ·         credit to charges for this portion of unfinished job.   <br /> _________________________________________________________ <br /> PROMISES TO MAKE IT RIGHT before work was preformed <br /> From: Glenda Miller [mailto:gmiller@cornerstonefencing.com] <br /> Sent: Wednesday, November 13, 2013 1:51 PM <br /> To: Phipps, Shari L <br /> Subject: Re: Hi Rich <br />   <br /> Shari, <br />   <br /> Rich has purchased and sold you equipment that is for long range so everything should be ok, our guys will test and check everything before they leave and afterwords you have any questions or concerns you just let us know. We take care of our customers. <br />  Since you had an existing gate we ususally don't make a site visit unless we are making the gate and install the posts and a hard wired system. <br />  Your situation is pretty staight forward but like I said we will make sure you are happy with the system. <br />  let me know if you have any more questions or concerns. <br />  thank you, <br /> glenda <br /> ----- Original Message ----- <br /> From: Phipps, Shari L <br /> To: Glenda Miller <br /> Sent: Wednesday, November 13, 2013 1:19 PM <br /> Subject: RE: Hi Rich <br /> I assume they test the remote clicker to make sure it does work from the house before installing it all yes? And if not, I get a refund on what I paid so far.   I am nervous as no one has come in person to inspect the job site.  This might be normal but this is all new to me. <br /> Not much point in my paying for a system that?s too far away from the house to work. <br />"

"Unlike other contractors who bid on the projct, Elmer was very knowledgable about options. He listened to what I wanted, but also provided his ideas based on his experience (which I always ended up going with). He did not and quot;nickle and dimeand quot; me over small changes to the plan and his price was very competitive. 6 months later, everything still looks amazing and I can't wait to enjoy my new front yard this summer! The concrete and rock wall were very well done and he charged much less than some of the other bids for the same quality of materials. <br />"

"Randy came over to my house that I had just purchased. I needed a couple of things repaired, such as the electrical outlet on the back porch and the lights on the front of my garage. Randy put in a new electrical box on my back porch. He said one of the bulbs had burned out and the fixtures weren't wired well so they shold be replaced, but I could keep putting new bulbs in, knowing they would burn out quickly, if I wanted to, or if I bought new fixtures, he could install them for me. Also, I asked him to look at a light switch because it was clicking when I turned it on and that seemed a bad. He said it was just tight, and he could replace it for me, but there was no need to have it replaced."

"My crawl space was flooded due to a hot water leak, major moisture damage and unfortunately I did not know about Willamette restoration and used another company to dry out crawl space but walls in laundry room and entry had to be tore down and that's when Willamette Restoration came into picture and saved the day. They completed the finish work walls, flooring, countertop, painting, replacing cabinets and I cannot say enough about their professionalism, timely manner in getting the job done. They went above and beyond my expectations and their cost was far less than a quote by another company. If you want excellent workmanship Willamette Restoration should be your company of choice."

"Dari and his crew were polite, professional, and went above and beyond everything that I asked them to do. They arrived on time and worked for three days completing the job in the hot sun. They moved plants, cleaned, power washed, reattached loose boards, stained both decks and railings, and then restained sections that absorbed more stain than others. They always did everything that I asked, even when I was a little picky about the uniformity of the stain. I'm very happy with the results. I wasn't sure if my old fence could be repaired or not. It was falling down on one side. Dari trimmed the arborvitaes that were pushing against it, reattached railings, and installed 7 metal braces in concrete against the posts. He saved me the cost of a new fence along that side!"
