"They came two days before and pressure washed the entire exterior. Then they came in taped, caulked, filled holes and painted. They were done in a little over a day and a half. Meticulous detail. There's a long wait time because people want him. If it's to hot or nasty he wont paint. He came with a crew of four and they were done in less then a day and half.  <br /> <br /> I have no complaints whatsoever, no suggestions to improve whatsoever. We went with him because of reviews on Angie's List. We then found out that he did a lot of our neighbors. The amount of detail that he went through, if I had questions they would point me to Juan. He was more then prompt with giving me a understandable response. He was very courteous. They sprayed then rolled.  <br /> <br />"

"Elias Contruction provided a detailed estimate after inspecting the roof and making some qualified recommendations. The project required a few change orders that were not clarified in writing. I would recommend hiring Elias if you get changes in writing. They cleaned up pretty well although they missed a few things due to finishing in the dark. Overall satisfied with the job and cost was 60% of other bids due to sheathing adjustment."

FAQs for small projects painting or staining projects in Longview, WA

You'll need about two gallons of paint to fully cover your kitchen cabinets with two coats. Since each gallon covers around 350 square feet, it's a good idea to measure your cabinets or use a paint calculator to determine exactly how much you'll need. Starting with one or two coats of primer and then applying two to three layers of paint will give you a flawless, durable finish. Using high-quality paint can reduce the number of coats needed and provide a long-lasting finish.

The best type of paint for your kitchen cabinets is latex paint because it applies evenly and creates a durable finish. If you're painting wood surfaces and need extra adhesion, acrylic paint is a great alternative. We don't recommend oil-based paint for residential use due to its VOC emissions. For finishes, go with eggshell, semi-gloss, gloss, or satin, as matte finishes aren't as durable or as easy to clean.

The best method for painting kitchen cabinets is spray painting because it gives you a smooth, even finish without brush strokes. While brushes and rollers can work, they often leave marks and require more effort. If you're aiming for a professional look, spray painting is your best bet to enhance the beauty and durability of your cabinets.
