"On Tuesday 09-29-2020, Joseph came to my home to clean and inspect my fireplace and chimney. The first thing I would like to comment on beyond his obvious knowledge and skill with fireplace tech is that he's also a wonderful and caring person. I could tell that he genuinely cared about me as well as the task at hand. I have two canes that I need to move about. He could tell that I have cretin issues with some day to day things. He helped me with a couple of items that were not even related to the chimney job. He didn't have to do that. Joseph is an amazing person. We had a wonderful chat too. It felt like I was visiting an old and trusted friend. He performed a detailed inspection of my fireplace system, cleaned everything well, pointed out a few minor issues, and then made a few repairs. When done, he cleaned up his workspace and collected his tools and ladder. As you might imagine, cleaning fireplaces and chimneys can be very dirty work but he is very skilled and he was super careful. I had nothing to do after he had packed up his gear and left. He then told me that the fee was just as quoted on the phone when I made the appointment. NICE! We ended the visit with a pleasant chat in the driveway as he packed his truck and then he was off to his next job. I absolutely and highly recommend Joseph and 'Lucky Chimney & Dryer Vent Services'. Also showed us before and after cleaning process output measurements. The flue is very old so the liner that needed to be inserted to meet new standards needed more insulation for fire protection. Thus it required the old one (8and quot;) to be removed, and a new safer liner inserted. (6and quot;)<br /> He gave me ideas about what type of istove/nsert to look for to fit the new stovepipe size. He even said he would go and look at any used stove I might find.<br /> Once I found the right stove/insert he had two guys come (on time), they went and got the used stove, brought it over, removed the old stove and pipe and redid the whole thing in just a few hours. The initial quote was all inclusive of bringing the new stove, installing everything, and removing/ recycling the old one.<br /> They were very careful of my hardwood floors and furniture, very clean and tidy.</em> <br />"

They were honest and upfront, and I appreciate that. It just made me feel stupid for never even looking to see there was a flue conversion."

"I found the site over the web and contacted thecompany. From pictures sent via email, they helped me decide on size, and design elements and promptly sent me referrence since they reside outside my area. The item was made, shipped and damaged in transit and they took care of details of returning item to them, dealing wiht the insurance company, correcting the issue, keeping me up to date in the process and remaking the awning and getting it back to me. They supplied detailed instruction to my contractor for installation and were available via phone for consult during the process. I am very pleased."
