"Approximately 3 years ago, this company installed a complete sprinkler system for us.  They did a fabulous job and we were thrilled with the results.  This spring, one of the stations quit working.  I contacted Mr. Wood and he sent Luis out to fix the problem.  Luis showed up exactly when he said he would (always a plus in my book) and discovered that we had inadvertently cut the wire to that particular station (probably when we moved some landscape lights around).  He fixed it lickety split and also fixed a rusted connection to my rain gauge.  The system is working perfectly once again.  Thanks for a job well done! <br />"

"Slater Lawn has always been great about coming out any time we needed work done on our sprinkler system. We had one issue where the wires were pulled up out of a valve box and apparently not put back right. They were able to fix the issue quickly. Recently, a concrete company poured a slab and destroyed the pvc piping where they poured causing my system to leak under the slab. It has been a nightmare to deal with but Slater's guys have been great. They scheduled the appointment time, showed up when they were scheduled, did the work.. then came back when we realized there was a second leak. They work hard, fast and they get it done professionally and are always ALWAYS courteous. Its sad that they have to come fix what someone else broke."

"Two repairmen arrived on time, checked all 9 of our programmed sprinkler zones, found numerous leaks that two sprinkler repair teams we previously used had missed. They dug up, repaired, and restored sprinkler lines, repaired sprinkler heads, and reprogrammed our system with more appropriate times. They restored dug-up areas. They explained why certain areas of our yard were not getting enough water, and how they had fixed them. They had all needed parts with them even though we never told them what we had. They were extremely polite, personable, and professional. We will be using them from now on."

"I had them install mine last year, when they came out to give me a quote it was great and best presentation. Then I had questions and he wouldnt call me back so called office then he called me back. We got everything ironed out and they came out to install (not Thrive crew) and they did a decent job but forgot some parts and I had to provide the cord to the box when they were suppose to. The master value was messed up so they were suppose to fix it but they never told me if they did. They were suppose to call me and/or came out at 90 days after but they had my money so that wasnt happening. I had more questions but i guess im on my own now that I have paid"

"The only negative, if you want to call it that, was their backlog. It took several weeks to work my job into their schedule, but the wait was worth it. Another service had refused to repair the broken line, leaving one of my sprinkler zones out of service. The tech was worried because the line ran between two retaining walls, and the repair might require moving some stone. FW Lawn Sprinkler's tech managed to fix it without any problems, and he located a leak in another part of the system that the other tech overlooked. He also tuned up the rest of the system. I've used several different companies over the years, but I think I've found one for the long haul."

Israel returned my call very quickly and was able to go out to the property within several days. He got the system going within about 45 minutes or so and kept cost to a minimal. "Let me start by saying, I will NEVER do my own work again! Chris has expertise, exceptional work ethic and great customer service skills. A fair price with phenomenal work! Chris arrived promptly and got to work. Using electronic sensors he found, marked and rebuilt the buried electronic valve. He replaced some four pop up nozzles. He ran a complete system check of the irrigation system. We have a raised garden bed and some of my popup sprinklers arch high. When there is a wind, the water gets blown away from the yard. Chris discussed with me low arch nozzles. When he installed them, it was a significant difference. This change will allow me to conserve water and ensure my garden and lawn are being watered properly. At $23 per rotor, it was a bargain! This is perhaps the strongest recommendation I have given for a company. It deserves it. I cannot highly recommend enough. Epilogue: The other company that was recommended by Angie's List, which I contacted at the same time as Discount Service Company, finally gave me an initial contact the day after Discount Service Company completed the work."
