He uses quality Owens Corning architectural shingles and other materials are upgrades as well. There are no short cuts. The roofers replaced certain sections of wood that were improperly nailed by the prior company. Our roof is solid and aesthetically pleasing - a real improvement to the overall curb appeal of the house. Besides the quality work Fred’s company provides, expect some excellent customer service. Fred called us multiple times - to update on orders, schedules, arrival times, etc. He picks up the phone or shortly calls back. That’s comforting when you have engaged a company for a big ticket project. He made good on every single thing we discussed. The clean up was amazing with landscaping and lawn protected by tarps. The men use a “magnet on a pole” to pick up stray nails on the ground. I highly endorse Preferred Roofing for a worry free roofing project."

"I had initially scheduled the AC Service for my home. I was able to get appointment the same week and service tech showed up right on time! He went through a 20 point 'comfort' inspection with me which not only covered the AC unit, but he checked out the furnace where it connected too. He had mentioned other specials that they were having and I was not very interested until he asked me if he could put a tube camera down my ducts to see if there is build up there. UGH. I had no idea of the amount of dust etc (legos) that had built up in there! <br /> I was able to get a good deal (sale I think?) on the additional duct service because I added it with the AC Service call and he did it the same day! <br /> I was impressed with the service, thoroughness, and my house feels so much more clean now that I got all that extra dirt out!!"

"First we called Bauer Roofing for a roofing estimate. When giving the estimate, <br /> they let us know our chimney chase had rotted wood. We decided not to <br /> do the roof right now; however we called them back to repair the chimney <br /> chase. They allowed us to paint the wood before they installed it so <br /> we didn't have to pay a painter too. Then they took additional paint to <br /> the chimney chase to paint the cut edges. Also, we had been told previously (before Bauer) that the flashing around the chimney chase was not right. We thought the problem had been fixed because we had another company repair that flashing. Evidently the previous company did not do the work correctly because Bauer Roofing personnel noted problems with the flashing. Bauer Roofing corrected the flashing. "They are not the cheapest service in the area, but I like their professionalism, quality, and the wide range of services they can handle. I think of them as if I want something done right, hire them, I may pay more more, but I know its done right. For example, when we remodeled our main floor, they redid the HVAC and electrical and got me to do things I didn't initially budget for, like convert the baseboard vents to more modern floor vents and install wired smoke alarms and carbon monoxide alarms in all bedrooms and furnace room. For the remodel, we called them last minute and they still got everything done on schedule, and it was a big job. Always very professional."
