The company that came out was not that professional and told me I needed a new sump pit as well as a new sump pump. I was questioned the diagnosis and then had to argue with the home warranty company. I immediately got on Angi’s list and found Mr. Rooter Plumbing. They came out within 2 hours and gave a proper diagnosis. I argued with the home warranty company over the secondary diagnosis. I accepted a cash in lieu after escalating with the home warranty company. Scheduled the repair with Mr. Rooter and they came in 2 days and installed the new sump pump. "I hired a plumber through HomeAdvisor using prepay but I would not recommend this service. The contractor left a leaky pipe that caused water coming up through carpet. I had to purchase a wet vacuum to dry out the carpet. I had to contact HomeAdvisor again and hired Dave the Plumber, LLC who had to redo the installation done previously. Dave the Plumber replaced all the piping and outside spigot because of a water leak the previous contractor left. Thank you Dave the Plumber for being a professional and a job well done."
