"Great experiences each time I've used this company. It's really, really hard to get good people to do quality work in Seattle, and Steve Bodine is one of those people. He employs great workers, treats them well and holds on to them for years. He personally is a genuinely decent and nice guy as well. He has years and years of experience and I would trust him with all my drainage needs (that's saying something in Seattle). Bodine also did a fantastic job with my concrete driveway and walkways. I first hired Bodine almost 3 years ago to redirect my downspouts to a new drain field in my back yard. His crew did an amazing job. I was so pleased, I hired them to do some concrete work in my basement. Again, excellent work. Based on that, I then hired them to pour a new concrete driveway and walkway. Again, an incredible job. They really care about getting it right. Bodine does virtually all of their work based on referrals... and they are busy. But if you have a problem, they will take care of it immediately and other times, you just have to be a little patient knowing they're busy taking care of someone else's problems. It works both ways. They were very patient with me when I had to change dates to have my driveway poured due to other work going on at my house. I also want to mention Jim Cuba and Manny, who worked on my most recent project and were terrific."

"This was the second job that I had Swope Excavation complete at my residence. I was very pleased with the first job that I turned to them when I needed immediate repairs. One of the drains around my foundation backed up during a heavy rain storm and eventually several other drains in the system began overflowing, creating flooding around the foundation. There was cracking around the foundation and I was concerned about the long-term stability. Swope Excavation was out promptly to evaluate the situation and began repairs immediately. Appearantly, the connection from the drain system to the sewer line was clogged with years of vegitation debris and ingrowth of roots, needing replacement of the drain lines and connection to the sewer. All repairs were made quickly and most importantly, on time and for the initial bid. I had them look at my foundation to ensure that it was secure and they said that settling and cracks can form with age which was most likely the case, not from the flooding. I felt confident in their assesment and that they were not going to sell me on more work that needed to be done during a time of emergent need."
