"I needed to have my crawlspace entrance widened to accommodate a new furnace. For starters, the wood frame around the entrance, nailed to the concrete foundation, would have to be removed. Additionally, a few inches of the concrete wall would have to be removed to make the opening even wider. The work was complicated by the fact that the entrance was surrounded by a small aluminum enclosure, which made things pretty cramped.
The two NCC employees (Garret and another) arrived on time. They removed the frame with a large pry bar. They also made a clean 20" vertical cut through the 8" concrete wall. When they were done they made sure I thought the opening was large enough for the furnace. In the end, we concluded that the aluminum enclosure would also need to be removed. They were willing to do that too, but they didn't have a reciprocating saw with them. They did advise me on how they thought it could be done.

"They leveled our patio and we were extremely impressed with the professionalism of the crew. Unfortunately, the patio sank a couple of inches within a month and they returned again, at no cost, and re-leveled. We are hoping that it will stay but, whatever happens, it is not the fault of their expertise but rather the ground continuing to shift. That is our personal assessment."

"I was please with the estimator, Boston's knowledge and willingness to walk me through the process and unfamiliar territory of basement waterproofing. He was very knowledgeable and answers so many questions, at the time of the walk through as well as in the days after when I had questions after receiving other bids and trying to compare them. In the end, it was just my low budget that kept me from going with Terra Firma. I thought their system was excellent, and would have worked well with my basement, but I had to opt for a less expensive design."

"Joseph and his crew were delightful and professional to work with. I wanted a stamped concrete driveway and Joseph took time to throughly explained to me the color and seal options. They came in leveled and graded my drive hauled away some dirt and broken concrete set the forms and finished the site prep all in one day They returned a day later poured and finished my 73 foot long 15 foot wide driveway on one day. They returned a day later to clean up, remove forms and apply the sealer. Upon their departure they left behind nothing but a beautiful Roman slate textured driveway! In the end I could not be happier! My driveway looks great and literally sparkles as if it was natural slate! Just as Joseph promised! You won't be disappointed!"

"TV came to my home the same day I submitted my request for a driveway replacement on Angi’s. He listened to my ideas and offered suggestions to make improvements. I was in contact with other contractors at the time. One gave me a rough estimate over the phone that did not include several of the things TV and I discussed but could not have an estimator on site for 2 weeks. Another could not give me a date when an estimator would be available. I chose to go with ATA Contracting because of TV’s quick response, his ideas, and because I wanted to get on a project schedule sooner rather than later. The lead time to start my project was 3 weeks depending on weather. My driveway was completed in 5 days. This was not a small undertaking. My driveway is approximately 215’ long and 10-24’ wide. TV and his crew took the time to answer my questions and explain the process as they went. It was a pleasure to watch them work. In addition to my driveway, TV and his crew also: 1) Routed and rerouted downspout output underground. 2) Replaced rough rock stairway with concrete stairs. 3) Replaced section of sidewalk. 4) Placed conduits under the driveway and sidewalk for future use. 5) Cleaned and sealed front porch. I will contact ATA Contracting for future projects and highly recommend them. Linda"

"We recently hired Nelson Concrete to pour a patio in our yard. Nelson was very helpful in explaining our options and helping design the project. His price was very competitive. We signed the contract Friday afternoon and on Monday the Nelson crew was on site. The concrete was poured by Wednesday and Nelson came on Thanksgiving Morning to finish the project. The resulting patio is exactly what we requested and we are very pleased."

FAQs for concrete injection leveling mudjacking projects in North Bend, WA

Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry to fill voids beneath a slab, while foam jacking uses expanding polyurethane foam delivered under high pressure to achieve superior structural support. This material distinction enhances load-bearing strength and overall stability in your repair.

Mudjacking takes between one and three days to dry completely. During this time, it's important to avoid putting weight on the slab until it's fully cured. The drying time depends on the project size and environmental conditions. In contrast, polyurethane foam used in foam jacking can cure in as little as one hour.

No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
