"If you're looking for a contractor that stands behind the quality of their work you might want to rethink hiring Dreamscapes Home Improvements. Dreamscapes charged me $800 for a new chimney flashing when they installed my new roof in August of 2015. In October of 2018, the first time I had been in my attic since the installation of my new roof, I noticed that the roof had been leaking for some time on the north side of my chimney as the plywood was heavily stained in the area of the leak. I believe a new roof should remain leak free for longer than 3 years so I called Joel at Dreamscapes. He came out and made a cursory inspection of the chimney, but didn't find an obvious cause of leak. He said he would come back the following Friday with his son to do a more extensive search for the cause of the leak and make a correction to a section of the flashing was that was sagging in the center. Like I said that was in October of 2018, this is August of 2019. I haven't heard from anyone at Dreamscapes since that day and they haven't responded to any of my communications. I believe that I have since found the cause of the leak myself. Things seem to be staying dry at least for now. The problem I found I was where the mason that had previously rebuilt my chimney left a dime sized void that should have been filled with mortar allowing rain to get behind the bricks. I would have been willing to pay Dreamscapes for finding and making that repair since it had nothing to do with the work they had done, but they completely blew me off. The point I'm trying to make is; if you're looking for a contractor who will stand behind his work and make a warrantee repair for you when things go wrong, this isn't the guy you want."

"The project was evaluated and determined that services were not necessary. Will, the inspector, was very professional and gave us some good recommendations. He possibly saved us thousands of dollars ( from another local exterminator’s services who quoted around $2000). I will use your services in the future, should I need to. "One screw type pier installed. 2 workers hand dug hole below bottom of foundation. Cleaned out under foundation for platform. Although foundation was deeper than I thought, the hole was done much better and quicker than I envisioned. Pier was screwed at bottom of hole with a hydraulic motor. Once limit on hydraulic pressure was reached, the pier was cut at proper level, platform installed, and cracked section of foundation was raised with a hydraulic jack. Crack in stonework closed up nicely without going too far and creating additional cracks. Workers had 5 and 15 years experience doing this work. Very professional and did a very nice job every step of the way. Note that I (homeowner) chose to move and reinstall landscaping stones and gutter drain. Also, tuckpointing/repairing the cracks was not included in the quote. I plan to do that myself at a later date."

"They guy who came was to check our air conditioning unit was unable to fix the issue and we will need to have the whole unit replaced.  He checked the filters first to make sure they were clear before proceeding.   He then attempted to start the compressor motor which did not work.   After doing some more checking, he gave us the bad news that our unit would need to be replaced and apologized that it was not working as we headed into a very hot weekend.   He then provided us with multiple options for replacing the AC unit including options to consider replacing the old furnace at the same time.  He helped us weigh all the pros and cons of our options and gave us honest feedback as to what would probably be our best options for the situation we have and the price options including a rebate offer from NIPSCO which we were unaware of.   In the end, it was our decision to go ahead and replace both the heating and cooling, which we will have done later next week since they will need a day or two for the parts to arrive.   We appreciated the prompt response and the cost of the consultation.    The other company we contacted could not come out for a week and were charging quite a bit more, so we were glad we called Weaver's.   <br />"

He was at the house perfectly on time and looked closely at the house to determine where the pipes would go, and he explained the process from start to finish. "The work went really well. The folks from Michiana Heating and Air Conditioning were service oriented when I met them (and extremely responsive when I called with additional questions). Their pricing was better than 3 other quotes (I got a total of 4 quotes). Also, no high pressure sales. The install took place when they said it would. A less experienced installer was accompanied by one who had much more experience. I rated the furnace quality as and quot;good,and quot; since it was installed very recently and there hasn't been much time to evaluate its performance.
