"We had a plumbing repair that left our walls damaged and in need of refinishing and a full repaint — right before Easter. Julio came out the same day, gave us a clear quote, and his crew got to work immediately. They even sourced the paint themselves, which saved us time we didn’t have. The quality of the work was excellent. Walls look flawless, and they left the space completely clean. Throughout the project, Julio was responsive and easy to communicate with — no chasing him down for updates. For a job this urgent, with guests arriving days later, having someone this reliable and professional was a genuine relief. Highly recommend without hesitation. We’ll be calling him again soon — our home’s exterior is next on the list."

"Alex is a professional painter. He arrived on time, gave us an estimate. He also was able to install insulation in several walls, installing sheet rock, texturing the surfaces then painting. The project was just completed and it really looks great. I will definitely call Alex again the next time we need additional painting work done."

"Daniel painted exterior special features around an atrium skylight and highly visible beam work around our home rim and was exceptionally skilled in his planning and execution of every step of the work. Couldn’t recommend more highly! He’s fun too!"

"Great communication, very nice contract, professional, lays out what he will do. We have a flat roofed home, and we wanted the Fascia/eaves painted. They did what they said they'd do. Nice people. Has 3-year warranty. Other people were really slow getting back to us even after inspecting. One party said our job was too small. Brambilas was just right. Inspected, quote, agreed, arrived, done in 2 days. "

FAQs for small projects painting or staining projects in Pacifica, CA

You'll need about two gallons of paint to fully cover your kitchen cabinets with two coats. Since each gallon covers around 350 square feet, it's a good idea to measure your cabinets or use a paint calculator to determine exactly how much you'll need. Starting with one or two coats of primer and then applying two to three layers of paint will give you a flawless, durable finish. Using high-quality paint can reduce the number of coats needed and provide a long-lasting finish.

The best type of paint for your kitchen cabinets is latex paint because it applies evenly and creates a durable finish. If you're painting wood surfaces and need extra adhesion, acrylic paint is a great alternative. We don't recommend oil-based paint for residential use due to its VOC emissions. For finishes, go with eggshell, semi-gloss, gloss, or satin, as matte finishes aren't as durable or as easy to clean.

The best method for painting kitchen cabinets is spray painting because it gives you a smooth, even finish without brush strokes. While brushes and rollers can work, they often leave marks and require more effort. If you're aiming for a professional look, spray painting is your best bet to enhance the beauty and durability of your cabinets.
