"We had a leak somewhere in our bathroom that was causing water to drip from the dining room ceiling when the shower was used. Jacob found the problem quickly and replaced the rotted gasket. We also had him replace the tub spout and shower head since he was here. Additionally, we discovered the night before our appointment that one of our sump pumps appeared to be broken. Jacob replaced it with one from his truck. All in all, the service was OUTSTANDING! He took the time to explain everything and demonstrate that the issues were resolved. Pricing was reasonable and service was quick, professional and personable. Cannot rate Pipe Doctor highly enough! Definitely recommend!"

Communication: Easily scheduled the estimate through Angie's List messenger service. For those of us with hectic schedules where text, messaging, or email works better than a phone call, this is a must-have service. Only 2 of the 6 companies from whom I requested estimates respected that despite being my stated communication preference. After the estimate phase, timely communication continued via email to schedule the actual work, and the technician called me 30 minutes before arriving. Although the work was not time sensitive, company was very responsive from start to finish. Quality of Work: Of the six companies I contacted, this was 1 of 2 offering a free on-site estimate. The on-site estimate turned out to be crucial as there were specifics about the existing main pump and the piping that were not immediately apparent with the companies preferring to do virtual estimates using photos I sent. In addition, this company did not attempt to upsell me, which had become an increasing problem with my standard plumbing company. The technician installed an owner purchased, battery-backup, WIFI-enabled sump pump including a W-fitting, associated piping, and check valves. Overall, it was excellent work, and he walked me through it at completion. Pricing: Although the price for this specific work was the highest of the 3 highly ranked Angie’s List companies providing estimates, the technician's obvious expertise, upfront and clear appraisal with no upselling, timely communications, and excellent work took the hassle out of this project and made it all worth it."

"The old well above-ground water pump stopped working and they responded promptly with a submersed replacement. The old piping was pulled from the well and replaced with new piping and power cable. The old water filter holder was difficult to use and not secured well; they replaced it, relocated it to free up basement space and fastened it securely to the wall. The pressure tank was also moved to a better location to free up space. The plumbing and electrical were re-routed. The pressure switch and pressure gauge were replaced. They were very cooperative and accommodating to my suggestions and wishes. The cost was reasonable."

"Wes showed up on time the same morning of my original call to Crown. He diagnosed my sump pump problem within ten minutes and I'm embarrassed to say it was a tripped GFCI circuit that my garage and backyard outlet shares. I should have known the first step of troubleshooting...check power source. After I reset GFCI in garage Wes verified the pump was working by observing several cycles. Sump pump replacement has been on my to do list for 15 year life and that's this year, so I'll be replacing both interior and exterior pumps in a couple of months. I'm going with a battery backup unit for the exterior sump. The prices for replacements are a skosh over the top end of my budget, but I'm impressed with the company, so I'll pay for the peace of mind."
