"We knew we had a termite problem but didn't know how severe it was or what needed to be done. The company owner, Mr. Scala, came himself to inspect the problem and told us that for effective treatment we would have to remove some of the plywood paneling in the basement and the wood floors in two closets. Once we had this done, Mr. Scala's team came and thoroughly treated all affected areas, drilling down inside and outside the basement and in the garage to inject insecticide and spraying exposed wood. We have had no signs of infestation since the treatment. Mr. Scala returned the following autumn  to confirm the effectiveness of the treatment. We asked for another inspection  this spring to assure us that there were no signs of re-infestation and that we could now replace our paneling and flooring. Mr. Scala, himself, came to do the inspection. He told us that we could put our basement back together but that he would like to treat any new lumber that would be used behind the wall or under the floor. <br /> Mr. Scala and his workers were prompt, professional and friendly. The work done was very effective. We believe we paid a very fair price for the work that was done last spring. Mr. Scala did not charge us for either of the two follow-up inspection visits. I had an issue with once and when I complained the owner of the company paid me a visit to resolve the issue - when would that happen with the big chain companies? Never! Recently I had an infestation with those tiny ants in my kitchen. I called late in the day and a tech came the very next day and resolved my issue with environmentally safe products you can use around anyone and your pets. The tech was a very nice young man who got rid of the ants in and around my home. Advanced Pest is a business you can trust!"

"Don't know. They do an initial inspection and set some termite traps around the property and they never come into the house again unless you call them. In our previous homes in CT with other companies for the same annual service contract price, we had monthly interior and exterior inspections. We are not experts, so waiting until something escalates to our attention doesn't seem like the best approach.Will try someone else this year."
