"Although this review is way overdue, time has not diminished how completely happy I am we went with Star22 for our main bathroom renovation & our from scratch new bathroom in our basement and relocated our washer/dryer to an area we turned into a laundry room. Let me tell you, I am a very particular person! The details matter to me and I was so nervous taking on multiple projects. From beginning to end, Bernie/Tim put me at ease & delivered! Above and beyond! Amazing customer service - we were made to feel like we were the only client & the only project they had. The PM Jalmer was great - and my rockstars - the two Henrys did HIGH QUALITY work! Everyone was hardworking, attentive & any of my questions or concerns were addressed immediately. They obtained the permits & everything was done properly & up to code (passed all inspections!) THANK YOU SO MUCH!! Oh and they kept the promised timeline - no delays or issues. INCREDIBLE! Would recommend and would ABSOLUTELY use again. I LOVE my 2 new bathrooms so much!!"

"Dominick did an excellent job on my project, which was to scrape our bathroom ceiling, do some light replastering, and prime and paint with a special anti-mold paint. He and his assistant arrived on time both days, took great care to protect our floors and bathroom, and even vacuumed our ceiling vent for us. His prices are on the high side, but we're thrilled with the result and would work with him again."

"We live in a prewar coop building in Manhattan and were in need of a kitchen, living and dining room/den renovation. Because of the limitations in our building, we were not optimistic that many changes could be made that would dramatically alter the feel/function of the space. Inson Wood proved us completely wrong. With his architectural eye and his impeccable design aesthetic we (and everyone who has been here before and after) experiences our apartment as an entirely different living space. Even family members are shocked at the transformation. I think that what Inson accomplished was the product of a few significant factors. First, Inson asks you what you want and seriously considers how you live. If Inson thinks that different approaches should be considered for what you want, he provides renderings of each option so that you can easily visualize and imagine them. Ultimately, Inson respects your preferences and works with them, elevating them to a level far above what you had imagined. Inson uses the highest quality vendors (whom we NEVER would have found) and expertly guides you through choices (note: follow his recommendations!!!)- our walls would never have had dimension and our kitchen backsplash never have been so unique (two examples) if not for the artisans that Inson uses. Inson is also willing to have you be as much or as little involved in the process as you want to be. I did go with Inson to choose many pieces of furniture but realized after a certain point that his taste point made me confident in him choosing much finishing work (ex: window treatments, decorative cushions, which I love) without me. As with all design work, there are always glitches and Inson was extremely responsive and responsible for taking care of those as they came up. We are nothing less than thrilled to come home each evening and enjoy our space, which feels like a luxurious retreat perfectly tailored to us."

"Eddie and his crew did a great job on our full master bath remodel. We had it completely gutted and everything redone. I recommend them not only for the quality of work, but for the small things which set them apart from other contractors. The whole crew and all his subs worked extremely clean, they covered everything and cleaned up each day. All the workers were extremely nice and very respectful to us and our home and considerate to the fact we had a toddler running around. They have excellent attention to detail and did not cut any corners. Eddie gave us a lot of ideas through the whole process. We even had a snag at the very end with the tub fauceti bought not fitting, I was even willing to buy a new one to avoid any delays but Eddie and his plumber saw it through to the very end. The only critique I have is the communication was a little last minute sometimes. We wouldn't always know if they were working the next day until late the night before. Regardless I will be calling them for my next project and recommend you do also."

They painted the closet doors as a value add, even though it was not in the original quote. Mike was very responsive. They did a high quality job and as requested, completed the entire job within a week to accommodate our move-in date. His quote was very reasonable compared to the other quotes. I would highly recommend Mike and his team."

"The remodel of our master bathroom turned out beautifully. We have an 80 year old home and the space for the remodel was small and challenging. The people at American Home, especially Vic, were very knowledgeable and provided good insight to help us make decisions. Mario did our tile work and he was a true master. The shower walls and floor look amazing. It was even noted by the shower door installer that the tiles were perfectly straight. Something he rarely sees in older homes! Our experience with American Home was exceptional. Everyone from the office staff to the artisan workers were true professionals. In fact we called them a few months later for some masonry work outside (also beautiful!). Highly recommend this company."
