"There are several things I appreciate about this company. The pricing was substantially more reasonable than others who had left us quotes. They offer you a consultant if you need help choosing colors. The initial estimator made notes of areas on the house that needed extra caulking from the last-luster job of the initial house builder. Those areas were repaired before the painting started. Amazingly, the painters finished our house in one day (1 level 3 bedroom). It looks sharp. But I would say that perhaps it was a little too fast. We found a couple spots that needed touching up, but they were quick to do that. There were also a couple places of drips on the porch that my husband is working to remove. All in all, I think they did a nice job."

"Oscar and his crew did a fantastic job for us. He is very professional and was always willing to listen and give ideas of his own. He made our 35 year old home have life again. I will definitely have him do any future work for us."

"The master bathroom required removal and replacement of several fixtures, as well as repair of water damage to the vanity and walls. The results were outstanding, with all areas now looking as good as new. I will certainly contact Ron for any future projects that arise, and I highly recommend his services."

Small jobs welcome

"GG Remodeling are the pros you want to hire. We hired Gustavo and his crew for several projects to renovate our 1960s ranch, including interior and exterior construction, electrical work, as well as finishes such as flooring and trim. We have been impressed by his professionalism, friendliness, and skill. He completes jobs quickly, which, as a busy family, we truly appreciated, and always gave us plenty of updates. His pricing is also very competitive even though the quality of his work is on par with more expensive pros. We definitely hope to hire GG remodeling for more jobs in the future! "

FAQs for small projects painting or staining projects in Pflugerville, TX

You'll need about two gallons of paint to fully cover your kitchen cabinets with two coats. Since each gallon covers around 350 square feet, it's a good idea to measure your cabinets or use a paint calculator to determine exactly how much you'll need. Starting with one or two coats of primer and then applying two to three layers of paint will give you a flawless, durable finish. Using high-quality paint can reduce the number of coats needed and provide a long-lasting finish.

The best type of paint for your kitchen cabinets is latex paint because it applies evenly and creates a durable finish. If you're painting wood surfaces and need extra adhesion, acrylic paint is a great alternative. We don't recommend oil-based paint for residential use due to its VOC emissions. For finishes, go with eggshell, semi-gloss, gloss, or satin, as matte finishes aren't as durable or as easy to clean.

The best method for painting kitchen cabinets is spray painting because it gives you a smooth, even finish without brush strokes. While brushes and rollers can work, they often leave marks and require more effort. If you're aiming for a professional look, spray painting is your best bet to enhance the beauty and durability of your cabinets.
