Aaron gave pros & cons of using pavers/crushed granite vs flagstone/mortar; no hard sell for either one. He explained we would need a small retaining wall on one side of patio to deal with sloping yard. We went with flagstone/mortar as it would match existing retaining wall and steps. Aaron provided an itemized proposal and placed us on his schedule. Communication was excellent throughout the process. Once started, they were finished in a week. Clean-up was outstanding. The workmanship is second to none. Patio is perfectly level, drainage is exceptional, and the flagstone is beautifully placed. We are so fortunate to have found Tecton Stoneworks on Angi. "Excellently is how the project went. The original 1957 jankety looking step units, sunk and settled crooked in relationship to the house, ended up being a solid as granite. Chris Roberts's team was not slowed down. They had both out and rubble removed by mid-day. Drawings were provided to the team for the new step design and orientation. The forms were built exactly as described and concrete poured by end of the day. The next morning they were out to remove forms and float an exterior coat. Aesthetically speaking the entire project is way beyond imagined. Over the years various sections of sidewalk, concrete decking, and a pool equipment pad had been poured adjacent to the other set of stairs leading up to a backdoor no longer in use. Needless to say there was three different heights of concrete at the intersection where they were to pour. Somehow Chris's team was able to tie everything together making it look like it had always been."

"Everyone at Green Paradise was very helpful and professional. Their pricing is very reasonable and they do great work. A careless Amazon delivery driver destroyed my masonry mailbox. But Green Paradise re-built it for me and it looks even better than the original. Their crew completed the work in one day and even stopped by the next day to make sure it still looked good. "Overall our experience with Bantex was very positive. I would definitely recommend Bantex to my friends. I first became aware of the company by chance. Bantex was remodeling a house that I drive past on my way to work. The house had been under remodel by a different contractor for quite some time and didn't look great. Then one day a Bantex sign popped up in the yard and work went fast. That house looked great at the end of that project. I snapped a picture of the Bantex sign and gave them a call for a flooring replacement. They came in just under another contractor I had bid and based on what I had seen, I wanted to give them a try. I'm glad I did. I had a very tight deadline as at the time I was 9 months pregnant but wanted new floors before the baby. They finished the floors just in time and the floors looked great! It was 1,000 sqft of porcelain tile. I wish we had done it sooner! Now in 2019 we decided to move and the new home was a bit of a fixer upper. I honestly thought it was going to be my Money Pit. Thankfully, Terry and David kept that from happening. I had several contractors and subcontractors bid on the remodel. Terry wasn't the lowest, but based on my previous experience with him, I was glad to hire him for the job. Here is an overview of the major items we had done: wall knocked out to create opening into family room, door closed off from laundry room, new closet created, flooring replaced with carpet and tile, new kitchen backsplash, new external exhaust added in kitchen (also had to add new cabinet cover for the vent), new toilets installed, new door made for bathroom, new venting created and installed in master bath, new HVAC system with duct replacement, remove and replace insulation with spray foam, whole house interior paint (including cabinetry and trim), natural gas added/plumbed (didn't have gas before), electrical work, drywall repair, and several other smaller items. All work was performed very timely. Again, we were on a tight deadline to move into the home. There were a few times I wasn't 100% satisfied and I was willing to accept small things that I just didn't like, but as soon as I told Terry I wasn't 100% happy - he was on it. It's clear that Terry and David both genuinely care about customer satisfaction. The best thing is that even though I added many items along the way (door widening, new thresholds, moving electrical, adding gas, and more!), Terry and David kept me on budget and on schedule. They are very upfront and honest about the cost and the time. They care about the quality of work and would gladly make changes to ensure a satisfied customer. As I said, I would definitely recommend Bantex to any of my friends and family for just about any home projects."

"Mike at Hillman Outdoor Living was very professional and easy to work with. The work was done in a timely matter and the finished product was exactly as promised. The stone retaining wall, flagstone patio, outdoor kitchen and pergola turned out perfect. He also stuck to his original quote so there were no surprises to the price. "In every dimension they wildly exceeded my greatest expectations. The stone work was perfection. They trenched and set each stone in concrete and then applied the mortar. After the mortar had set up they hand brushed and smoothed each joint. They had come by the week befor and killed all the grass. They removed the grass, added top soil and tilled it in. They sought my input on plant location and made sure I was satisfied and installed 2-3 inches of mulch when done. As for the Palram polycarbonate roof on my patio the installation was highly detailed and the toughest part was trimming the 45 foot curved edge. Travis said this was his 40th install but his toughest challenge finishing out the curved edge. All I can say is he nailed it. He even went back and hand trimmed the edge in order to remove the flashing leaving a perfect edge. Once he was done he water tested the roof to ensure there were no leaks. Nine years earlier they had installed a stone & boulder landscaing along the front of my house. Over time some of the mortar joints had cracked. They removed the cracked mortar and reploaced it at no additional charge. This is a company that takes pride in their work and it shows in everything they do from design, to installation to clean up. They covered details I would not have even thouht to address. I didn't take roofing pictures or the front stone work but it turned out great. Three of my neighbors were so impressed they are getting bids for their yards."
