"Anthony and his team stopped by to give me an estimate on removing a 6" flex pipe that had been installed in the chimney pipe to vent a wood stove. They climbed the roof, inspected the chimney and determined the flex pipe did not run the length of the two story chimney but was about 6-8' in length. They removed it and also took care of its disposal. And the cost was absurdly reasonable - dinner for two would have cost more. "B&P Chimney folks are awesome. I called them up on Monday evening to get an estimate for Chimney cleaning/repair and they came by on Wednesday to take a look at the current condition. I was pleased to know that the owner Paul was personally there to help/do the work. Before even talking about the estimate, he and his employee inspected the fireplace, boiler, and the chimney. They even took pics of my chimney from the roof to show me what he was explaining. Glad to know that there are still honest people out there. He recommended just the very basic must do things and let me choose other things I asked. Absolutely no pressure or upsell of his services, infact he recommended me to check with fireplace company before putting chimney liners if it's really required(he does chimney liners too). They were professional, courteous and did a great job the same day they came to give me quote, how awesome is that. They are highly recommended."

"I was overdue for getting my chimney cleaned. After researching I called up Always Affordable Chimney. Despite it already being December, John came to inspect a couple of days later and told me we needed a liner for the chimney furnace and that it was a priority safety-wise, despite needing a creosote cleaning in the fireplace. John showed me the photos and explained it all as well as showed me inside the furnace flue. They came to do the work a couple of days after I called to confirm. The crew, led by John, was professional and thorough, answering any questions we had. They worked with me for making payment arrangements and threw in the creosote cleaning at no charge. "We were hesitant to go with Chimney Savers mainly because of the price - it was thousands more than the nearest competitive bid.  However, in retrospect, we made the right call. <br /> We have a chimney with two fireplaces, one on each floor. "Total Chimney installed a new stainless steel cap over my three flue chimney. An initial misunderstanding about price was quickly and fairly resolved with the owner. The three crews which came to my house were all very professional, although the lead tech at the first visit did not measure, so the special order cap did not fit and a second one had to be ordered. During the whole process, my phone calls to the office were quickly returned and communication was excellent. I am very pleased with how everything was handled and recommend Total Chimney."
