"Bob is so easy to work with. He quickly gave a reasonable quote and came to install my new ducted range hood within a week and completed the job in couple of hours. He and his brother were just pros. It’s also very convenient that you can pay him with a credit card. I highly recommend Bob for your home projects. I’ll definitely keep him mind for my future home projects."

"Ari has gone above and beyond making my upstairs bathroom into my dream bathroom! My bathroom before was a small narrow half bath that he made into a beautiful bathroom with a new shower and built in shelves! He is a hard worker and easy to work with in every way! I highly recommend him for any job. He also installed my living room bay window and did it in a day and a half. Can’t say enough good things about this company! Hire him!"

"The final result of the project turned out great and the work was done well. Once the team confirmed a date, they showed up as planned and completed everything as expected. There were a few scheduling changes earlier in the process, but everything was ultimately finished successfully."

"GreyVal did a great job reinstalling our damaged mailbox. It entailed removing a rotted stump in the ground, (they came up with a very clever way of removing it), digging and clearing the hole, trimmed and leveled the new post to fit our existing sleeve. When the job was completed they cleaned the area and even stacked the old wood in our garage. All this done for half the quoted fees of two other companies. We'd definitely hire them again and have their number on file. "

"Adam called me immediately and met me that same day. I hired the company and they cut my grass that same day. They used a ride on mower and my land is uneven so some areas were shorter than others. Two days later they spread 10 yards of hemlock mulch and recut some areas of my grass with push mower. They will use a push mower in the future. My yard now looks beautifully landscaped. Communication is definately key with this company. They aim to please!!"

"Mack from Alton Barnes called me back quickly from the VM I had left, and met me at the property shortly after. I had deck and porch damage from a big tree that came down and glanced the side of the house after a bad wind storm we had. Upper deck was unstable. Repairs needed to be done ASAP. Mack was on it right away. His communication thru out the job was outstanding, sending me pictures of his progress along the way. He finished quickly as well. No waiting or wondering if he was going to show up. Property was cleaned up after the job as well. I couldn't be happier with his work. Mack is honest, gives great money saving suggestions and quickly follows thru! I'm already planning to hire him again for another few jobs I have in mind. "

FAQs for handyman service projects in Quincy, MA

Winterizing shields your home’s structure and key systems from snow, ice, and freezing temperatures. By sealing drafts and tuning up heaters, you cut energy waste, extend the life of appliances and windows, and avoid surprise repair bills. A small up-front investment keeps rooms cozy and protects the value of your biggest asset all winter long.

Yes, it’s important to prepare your sprinkler system for the winter. Blowing out the lines and insulating above-ground parts keeps valves and pipes from splitting when temperatures drop. A quick winterization visit costs far less than repairing burst components in spring, and it ensures your lawn--and your wallet--stay in good shape once the thaw hits.

A full home winterization plan goes beyond sealing windows and pipes. You might schedule a home energy audit, cover outdoor furniture, service the snowblower, swap smoke-detector batteries, add outlet gaskets, and hang storm doors. Each step beefs up your home’s protection, cuts drafts, and lowers the chance of costly cold-weather damage.
