"Bath Conversion owner Kevin visited me and listened patiently what I wanted. I wanted to replace the bathtub for the soaked one and add to the shower. Total cost was fair. Once he had a tub, he contacted me then they worked so hard, had almost done in one day. The second day was just finishing and took less than one hour. They cleaned everything. They were very friendly and very professional. I strongly recommend this company to others. Thank you, Kevin."

"We needed to replace our shower due to a bad initial installation when the house was built. Oasis Bath Solutions was listed with Angi when we contracted for the build in October 2025. Andrew, their sales representative did a great job in assessing what needed to be done to redo our shower, showing us all the options and helping for us to pick a package that would work for us. When the work started, our build team was Jimmy and Jonny along with Caleb, the coordinator who ordered the supplied, hand picked the team and kept us in the loop the entire time. Jimmy and Jonny were both professional, creative and hard working. There were some challenges in both the removal and installation phases of the shower and they kept us informed, coordinating with us every step of the way. Our shower is complete and we are very satisfied with the completed project. We would recommend them to any one needing a new shower as the entire group we worked with is very, very customer in."

"I wanted to have a conversion to a walk in shower primarily as a safety feature to avoid slips and falls in a bathtub shower environment. The end result is a beautiful, ADA compliant walk in shower that is luxurious and provides the safety measures I needed. Thank you Jacuzzi and my install crew, Randy, Ty and JD, I appreciate you guys and your work ethic. I'm happy with my decision to have this project done by Jacuzzi."

"Vanderlip Construction brought our ideas and vision to a reality on a master and guest bathroom remodel in our 1961 rambler. Eric is both an organized contractor and an experienced craftsman. He is a thoughtful and very responsive communicator who we could always count on to perform the tasks he scheduled throughout our project. He brought in very skilled team of subcontractors who he made sure didn’t disrupt our home life and office work activities. Eric was generous with sharing his expertise and insights that helped us make decisions on key details. We had about an 80 percent design and selected all the tile, fixtures, and custom cabinets but Eric’s attention to detail brought it all together, especially on our counters and master bath shower. Always patient and friendly, he wanted to make sure we were satisfied with the progression and the outcomes. He’s also committed to backing up his work. I suffered a serious leg injury after the remodel and Eric kindly went the extra step to come to our house and install a new light fixture in our bedroom. He scored an A+ on both bathrooms and we made a new friend."

"We hired Vic and his team to replace a gas range with electric. This task was complicated by the need to upgrade our electrical panel and run new cables to support the new range. We also needed to cap off the old gas line and repair and paint drywall. They made sure that everything was up to code (including correcting an existing problem they found with grounding) pulled the required permit and arranged for inspection of the completed work. We were impressed by their professionalism throughout. As well as doing quality work they also were very careful to protect our home and clean up once complete. We were very pleased with the finished job and would definitely hire them again."

Customers say: Super punctual

"We recently moved back to Seattle and returned to our old condo. Gina was wonderful with ideas, suggestions, and connections to make the place look new, fresh and updated. My experience with Gina was very positive all around. She was very approachable, accessible and easy to work with. We connected by phone, in person, and by email. She always responded very quickly. Gina understood what we wanted and did not impose anything but engaged us in conversation to make sure the final result “was us”. She was more expensive than our previous experiences with prior designers in other parts of the US, but this is Seattle where everything is more expensive, and she was very worth it. Also, she works by the hour vs the entire project, so we were able to use her services as needed and were able to implement her ideas on our own and at our own pace. Again, she was great about that and even after we had finished the business relationship, she sent us ideas and links that were very helpful. On the other hand, she also saved us a lot of money. We were thinking that our old furniture should be replaced but she discouraged us from buying new and encouraged us to refinish some of what we already have. She also suggested places where we could have it done and we were very, very pleased with the results. For instance, we had a large old dinning table that we have thought for many years was made of oak. Thanks to her we discovered that it is an ash table, much more valuable than we ever imagined and having it refurnished left us with a gorgeous piece of furniture -- a conversation piece, really. On the same vein we thought we would need to replace a large, old fireplace in our living room, but she insisted it has tons of character and encouraged us to keep it. We followed her advice and are very pleased with the final product. We didn’t do all she suggested (I now wish I had!) but are delighted with the results of what she told us to do that we did. We definitively will consider calling her again for future projects and recommend her without hesitation."

FAQs for bathtub installation and replacement projects in Redmond, WA

Most tubs last an average of 20 years, or closer to 10 to 15 if they’re acrylic or fiberglass. If you’re seeing persistent leaks, cracks, stubborn stains, or mold that won’t scrub away, it’s time to start shopping for a replacement. Out-of-date features and visible water damage are other red flags. Swapping the tub now protects your bathroom from bigger (and pricier) repairs down the road.

You should install your tub in a location that complements your bathroom's layout, plumbing connections, and personal preferences. Consider placing it near existing plumbing to minimize installation costs. Many homeowners position their tubs to take advantage of natural light or scenic outdoor views, enhancing relaxation.

Ensure there's sufficient space around the tub for easy access and safety, especially if accessibility is a concern. Ultimately, the ideal spot is where the tub fits seamlessly with your bathroom design and provides the most comfort and convenience for your needs.

Replacing a bathtub takes just one or two days if you hire a pro to handle the job. They'll remove the old tub and install the new one efficiently. If you're considering doing it yourself, be prepared for it to take much longer, possibly up to a month. That's because you'll need to remove the old tub and drywall, install the new tub, repair the walls, and maybe tackle new tiling. Weigh the time commitment against potential cost savings to decide what's best for you.

Converting your tub to a shower transforms your bathroom with a modern and accessible design. The average cost to convert a tub to a shower ranges from $2,000 to $10,500, based on the required plumbing, tiling, and structural modifications. This upgrade maximizes space while boosting functionality and aesthetics in your bathroom.
