"My wife and I started out needing someone to come in and fix a leaky tiled shower. We would need to retile the shower. When we started planning the repair with Mike, he offered some very creative ideas, indicating that things we had not considered were possible and doable. He first created a structurally functional space using the proper, more modern materials and technology that would all but guarantee that the shower would never leak. Mike helped us re-design the space and transform it into a beautiful space, thinking outside of the box, and doing things we had not considered possible. Our bathroom is not only structurally and functionally sound, but it is amazing--something you might find in a 5-star hotel. In addition to Mike's craft, he was timely, and considerate--working in our home, in the master bathroom, over the holidays with my wife and I both working from home due to COVID. Bathroom tile work can be messy and dusty. Mike was neat, confined the construction mess to the bathroom and not in the bedroom or the rest of the house. He was very easy to work with, was polite and respectful. As a side note--my wife and I continue to consider other related projects Mike could help us with."

For us, forming a relationship, especially with people who were to be in our personal spaces for several weeks, was critical. Now, after completion, we feel blessed to know Kevin and Allison as friends...the kind you can call in the middle of the night if you're stranded on the side of the road. It was the last day of the job - some finishing touches and a front entry door install. The door didn't fit, so back to the store they went. Our store didn't have the one we wanted but instead of asking us to pick a different door, without hesitation they chose to travel to a neighboring city to get the one we had decided on. They made sure we knew if there were any issues after they left, they wanted us to call and promised to take care of them. We have texted several times since they left with questions that they answered immediately. Our job consisted of scraping an entire floor of popcorn ceilings, installing canned lighting in 3 rooms, a living room accent wall, scraping and sanding ceiling beams, two door installations, and a full bathroom reno. We have fallen in love with our home again; the home we always knew it could be. Our future plans include hiring AMLO Custom Creations for an outside project just as soon as they can get us on the books."

"Doors look very nice but I would like to be happier with the hinges. They are soft close and work fine on the smaller doors but not as good on larger doors and take room inside the cabinets because they extend inward but I would still use Newman again"
